Did the same thing. Purchased a 22 Caravel in March of 2023 and 11 months later traded it in on a Flying Cloud 23. Not the best financial decision we ever made but love the 2 axels and single beds. No more crawling over each other in the middle of the night.
Thanks for sharing. The good news is that there's an Airstream size and model for everyone. My wife and I, 47 years of marriage, are now in our third year of full-timing in our 19cb Caravel. Never looked back. Not looking forward to another rig. Loving our life!
My wife and I were there when you purchased your trailer, you even allowed us to do the unguided tour. Beautiful trailer we thought. so glad your happy with your unit. Happy Travels
Congratulations. Nice move. If you want to forget about the wind and sway, move up to the Hensley arrow hitch. We’ve towed securely in 45 mph/gusts to 65 mph. A Hensley hitch has been on our 30’ Airstream Classic for > 20 years. We have Hensley cub on our 19’ Escape fiberglass trailer. See y’all down the road.
Congrats!! I did the exact same thing last year, I bought a 2018 23’ International Serenity in April and traded it back in on a 2023 28’RQB Intenational in September. My wife and I (and our 3 silky terriers) loved the first one, but it was a little small for us. We were sold on “Airstream” after the first one so we broke the bank and went all in. Happy camping (and picture taking of course ) 😊
you are so right! we bought 25 FB , realized too small, was so intimidated to get larger, went back 2 months later traded for 27 Globetrotter. Tows like a dream, don't even know it's back there. safe travels
So awesome and you will love the bigger Airstream. I have a 27ft Tommy Bahama with the back hatch and it is just right. Just don't go to fast when towing as I am sure you know. Enjoy and have fun. Take care and safe adventures!
Fair!!! I think the big takeaway for us was just to seriously… walk thru every unit! Sit in them. Take note of what you like/dislike about all the configurations! Thank you so much for watching!

Isn’t it crazy?! Only thing to consider now is turning, and even that is fine! Safe travels to you as well!

OMG that back hatch!!!! Major envy! We are taking it verrrry slow and listing to @keepyourdaydream “slow is pro” 😁
I love the new one! It's so pretty. We're looking to move from a truck camper to a 27FB. We can't wait to back it into some of our favorite campsites.
THANK YOU for making this video! so helpful aaaaaand I love your sound effects haha (that whipping wind). hope yall have a good day!
Airstreamers call it "Two-Foot-Itis" but you guys made 3 of those steps in one big jump. Congratulations!
Bahaha we heard about this at the dealership… this thing seriously feels DOUBLE the size of our previous unit!
Buda/Kyle, the Cabelas water tower sticks out like a sore thumb haha. Congrats on the new Airstream!
Bahahaha! It is totally ridiculous :D Thanks so much!!!
It would have been nice to hear more about the lessons learned. But otherwise, congratulations. The Austin dealership looks excellent.

Congrats! Nice rig.
Thanks! 👍 Can’t wait to hit the road!
Is an airstream a fancy word for trailer?
Yes! It’s a specific brand :)
Congrats, again...
Thanks… it feels ridiculous, but we’re so excited about the extra space!
