Yes, we were up on the North Rim at the Grand Canyon and captured the comet once it cleared a cloud band hovering over the horizon. Gorgeous, similar to Neowise a few years back. Next night we got clouds and drizzle so it ruined our chances. Back in Sedona, AZ and looking to shoot it once again.
Great images Mallory. It's been raining here for days so I'm hoping to get out and try and see it in the next few evenings.
Great tips. Lovely images. Thanks for sharing
Very helpful tips. Hoping to get ready soon, just need the skies to clean up.

Malloy, what lens did you use? Thanks!
Hey quick question, when we take multiple shots and stack them, won't the position of the comet change relative to the foreground ?
It will! But the software accounts for planetary movement and aligns them accordingly 🤗
about the comet: here in South of Germany it is raining / cloudy for at least five days now. no comet :(
but thank you for telling it is right to Venus. when there are no clouds, I will find it!
