This is perhaps one of the last moments captured on footage of Linkola before his death. This video is posted in memoriam of him and his life's work. May he rest peacefully.

He complains a lot. It gives me the impression he wasn't very happy. That is too bad because he had a lot of good ideas and he lived what he believed. Unlike most leftist environmentalists who sit in air conditioned apartments in cities and virtue signal online about how "we" need to change how we live to save the environment. Perhaps Linkola would have been happier if he had a woman with him on his farm to share the nature with. I like feeding wild ducks, wild geese, squirrels, walking in woods, gardening and being self sufficient, and I find it is even better when I have someone to share the moments with.
I think Ted Kaczynski may be right about modern industrial society in that it is against human nature, against our instincts to sit in office buildings or on assembly lines all day. That is why so many Americans are on antidepressants. I think if we lived with nature in tribal family groups people would be happier.
He wasn't happy, he even wrote as much. That's just how it is when you watch something you love being destroyed without the power to do anything about it. Whether it be nature or your kind.

He rejected human dignity. He rejected the clear teaching of God's word, than man is created in God's image and that he is. Entitled to have dominion over creation. Sadly we have to assume that he is now burning in hell.

If we live as Pentti lived, life surely would prevail.

I really hate myself for not knowing about this man before he died, I vehemently agree with almost all of his political opinions and his religious beliefs, may he rest in peace.
What was his religious beliefs? Please answer!
@@langskeppet9887 I believe he was atheist from earlier interviews but there were some statements he made, that said otherwise but unfortunately I cant find them since they came from some telegram channels that were banned.

I just recently discovered Pentti. As a Finlander relocated to Canada I feel totally at home watching this video. I live in a town surrounded by forest where a convenient escape to the woodlands is just a walk away. Mr. Linkola fits in well as a challenging motivation.

He lived, like he teached. That is the way, what i can truely keep honorable way to live and be. He was and still is a decent human being, a decent man. - Thank you Pentti Linkola; i never met you at live, but i have listened and read you and your texts, and i have really learned a lot from you, so i thank you one more time to there, where ever you are now.
RIP Pentti, may his legacy live on.

Ei tarvitse kysellä, että kuuluuko Pena 10 parhaan suomalaisen kirjailupiiriin... Kyllä kuuluu. Äärimmäisen hieno ja taitava sanailija ja äärimmäisen komea ja herkkä ihminen. Luonnonsuojeluaate on toinen asia. Puhuin vain siitä kirjoittamisen riemusta.

If there is a man that deserves to go to heaven, it's Linkola. A man of obligation and action. He observed the world and cared and acted. As for you and your moral pretentiousness, I'm sure you'll be dropped by God himself into the deepest part of hell.
@@j.s.2744 Oh really? A man who worships "mother nature" is guilty of idolatry. Even worse he denied human dignity. He was a deeply resentful man, unable to build stable relationships with people. So he made an ideology out of his resentment - a very dangerous ideology. I still have to resume (and I doesn't do it triumphantly), that he is burning in hell right now.

Не в аскетизме дело. Он был настоящим защитником природы, боролся за сохранение лесов родного края (Финляндии). А жил он так, как сам учил, что достойно уважения.

@@Dablya-tr1db я бы не сказал, что Пентти был мизантропом. Наоборот, он считал человека одним из лучших зверей, но в его понимании переизбыток жизни только мешает её продолжению. И это правда, потому что ресурсов нашей планеты не хватает на содержание 8 миллиардов человек, а число растёт с каждым годом. Да, идеи Пентти радикальны, но чем больше происходит природных катаклизмов, тем больше эти идеи имеют место быть.
