One thing that I rarely hear talked about when it comes to EDC guns is the fact that it’s going to be confiscated following a self-defense shooting. When it comes to defending your life or family I bet the cost won't be an issue to you at the time. Even if you had a budget carry and an expensive fun gun once the budget one is gone you are on to the expensive one anyway.
It won't always be confiscated. And even if it is, my life is worth far more to me, than a 500 or even 2000 dollar pistol. Guns are replaceable, people are not.
I definitely think its something to keep in mind, however, I ultimately think John from ASP probably has the best view of it. His view is that if you used it and survived, its done its job. Carry the best gun you can for you, worry about replacing later, pray you never have to worry about it in the first place
Me too. If I can find any optics ready version, I’m down to get a present to myself. I been using the original shield since I turned 21. I love the platform. I don’t like the accessories so much with S&W (I have a revolver by smith too) but for me the original shield has a great grip and it’s perfect for my hands
@@PROFESSIONALCRASHOUTI retired my gen 1 shield a week ago now with the plus version. Much better and worth buying if you already have the gen 1. Also if you wanna appendix carry with a leather holster for maximum comfort get the version with a manual safety and just keep it on when carrying or mainly when inserting the gun into the holster.
Love that the P07 is still in your top 5! It was my first handgun purchase when I turned 21 for concealed carry after your recommendation 4 years ago and to this day runs like a tank after thousands of rounds and has never had a single malfunction. Absolutely love the thing and trust it with my life bar none. Thanks outlaw 🤘🏻
I would put the 365 XL and P07 as 1-2. If you only have one gun the XL is the best do everything pistol on the market. The P07 is a rock solid duty/nightstand gun
I got my p07 because of your early reviews on it, been carrying it for years and have gotten a ton of work done to it (cgw package/jager slide milling for dot) I love the gun
6’2” and 215 with hands bordering on 3XL. I gave up on anything smaller than a duty sized pistol. Works for me. Carry what you’re comfortable carrying and training with.
@@seanoneil277 this. As an older guy, arthritis has become an issue and the full size grip works for me. I’m big enough to carry a full size duty weapon concealed and the extra length works like a keel to help keep the grip tucked in.
The Shield Plus 4” Performance Center has become my go-to and it made me part ways with my most of my other carry guns. The trigger is solid (not mind-blowing, but solid) and carrying it with the 15 round mag makes me feel pretty well-protected. The thinness of it makes the extra grip-length a non-issue with concealibility because it can’t stick out very far regardless. Planning on whittling my carry guns down to just that, the M&P 5”, and Glock 45.
I've got the .45 version of that gun, and have the same observations, although I always carry with extended mags. With 8-round Hyve mags, my .45 is basically a modern day LW Commander. I like it so much I'll for certain get the 9mm version as well to go with my 3.1" Shield Plus.
i also have Shield Plus 4” Performance Center. sweet shooter. trigger almost identical to canik mete. my hand is comfortable with S&W thin grip as well as canik's thicker grip.
Yes precisely, It's the best for personal protection especially. Like you said with the 15-round mag plus the smaller two It's like a competition self-defense firearm almost.
Just bought a S&W Shield Plus, slide cut and it has night sights. I bought it completey based on your recommendation. WOW! Just wow! I've owned both and original 9mm Shield and a 45 Shield, which I loved, but this one is absolutely amazing!
Please have your wife do her favorite for women w smaller hands. Long gun, shotgun and pistol/revolver. Appreciate you both and what u are doing for the kids. Yes I recycle here in the limited arms state of Cali
The CZ P07 is my home defense gun. I tried it out because of you and loved it. It's getting an optics cut now because my eyes don't focus on front sights so well anymore. The S&W Shield Plus is my carry gun, so I really like your list. The Shield Plus has an optic for the previously stated reason. Love both guns.
@@chltmdwp The preferred method with Iron Sights is always to focus on front sight. With Red Dot you target focus. You can target focus with irons as well, but you will be far less accurate than using front iron focus.
I've tried a handful of different carry pistols over the past 10 years i always come back to the Glock 19 good capacity conceals very well appendix carry and it just works the fact i know there's millions of mags in circulation for makes it a no brainer for me in a shtf scenario as well
Same for me and the G26. I have a bunch of other CCW guns, but I shoot the ol’ 26 best. The thicker grip with the extended 12-round Magpul mag allows me to draw and fire decidedly more accurately than my smaller guns. Unfortunately, it’s just a bit too large for concealment under a t-shirt from late spring to mid fall (for my body shape/size). But if I can only grab one, my 26 is it.
@@DE2CE-DE2CE Magpul’s 12-rounder is slightly shorter than Glock’s, so it prints a bit less. The shorter protrusion also looks better, IMO. Not huge deal, just my preference.
The G19 and G26 really are hard to argue against. The G19 being just small enough to conceal in most cases, and having great capacity... And the G26 being even easier to conceal and yet shooting very accurate for it's size. I really can't tell any difference in recoil with it versus the G17, and for a guy with very large hands, I shoot the G26 tighter. Both great carry options. It's one thing to have a smaller gun that conceals well, and another thing entirely to ALSO have a gun you feel confident actually fighting with it.
OFC cz Is on the list! If you’re reading this and never owned a CZ, go to the range and rent one out, they’re amazing guns! I own a wide variety of handguns going ranging from $300 up to a staccato XC, and the CZ line of handguns just have a unique distinction when holding and shooting them
I’m a big fan of the P365XL configuration. The original 365 is just too small unless I wanted a single finger grip backup gun. The XL is perfect in the “just barely large enough but still very concealable” Honestly I’d have bought the macro if it had been out at the time but I don’t mind the XL.
There's a P365XL in our inventory, too. I want to like it better, but a) it's a little narrow for my meathook hands, and b) my wife commandeered it because of what we have, it's the one she can do best on administrative handling (i.e. racking the slide, field strip for cleaning, etc.). I'm quite fond of my P07--enough so that I have a P09 as a home defense piece. The DA/SA trigger is what got me less uncomfortable about carrying with a round in the chamber. Frankly, I find the CZ PCR even better for me. YMMV, of course!
@AVG_Joey there's some great deals right now for the xl spectre comp for less than the macro comped version. XL spectre comp comes with 1 17rd and 2 12 rd mags as well. I'm debating just getting the spectre comp over the macro. What made you switch out your grip module?
I appreciate that you’re not obligated to the gun industry and your matter of fact analysis. I dig the general vibe of the channel as well. I’m probably one of your few lefty liberal gun owning subscribers. Yes. It’s true. Still believe in the right to protect yourself and your loved ones. Also appreciate your support of YSS. I worked with at risk youth for years. They need support. Good for you Chris!
Bought my Shield Plus about a month and a half ago. Love it. Bought it to replace my CZ 2075 RAMI as my carry and I shot it better than the 2075 the first time I shot it. Got a holster and dot on it and shot it at the range to dial the red dot in. I feel like I'm comfortable enough with it to go ahead and carry it over the 2075 now.
I’ve had various carry guns over the years from M&P 9C, Gen 1 Shield, CZ P01, CZ PCR. I carry at 3 o’clock as appendix has never felt right. I swapped to the original 365 with 12 round mags over a year ago due to back issues and needing something small and light. Best thing I ever did. I shoot it well and can put it on in the morning and forget it’s there all day regardless if I’m in and out of my truck visiting clients and construction sites, stepping into meetings, or just sitting at my desk. It’s stupid comfortable. I also carry a second 12 round mag with MagGuts holding 14 rounds. That’s 27 rounds rounds on me at all times. Don’t see any reason to ever change.
Thank you for being the most chilled and humble marksman and markswoman. I could hang out with yall any day. But for your back I highly recommend a foam roller from smooth surface for beginners to aggressively studded ones. Hanging from a bar for spinal decompression also helps and 1 hour a day of deep stretching before bed and a fat glass of water will help.
I have 3 of these five, the P365, the G43X and the Shield Plus and absolutely love them all, but carry the Shield Plus 98% of the time! I added the EPS carry and carry it in a Tenicor Velo4 appendix holster and it’s a great combo! I use Tenicor Velo4 appendix holsters for all my carry guns!!!
I'm only 25, and I have found that if I spend 10 minutes in below freezing weather without gloves, it feels like all of my finger bones are broken. Glove space is super important.
From MN here. I would skate before school. I’d be there before the water truck and sit in the snowbank in jeans, with thermals underneath, and listen to the water freeze. I would promise the driver I wouldn’t skate until it was set. Puck wouldn’t travel wet anyways I would tell him. We would sit at bus stops and watch our spit freeze on the side of buildings. Bus stops were near buildings usually to give us some wind cover if they could. When the bus stops were in the open we would build snowforts/dugouts for fun and to warm up in, took turns. Your breath keeps it warm if you do it right but animals would get in there at night and poop sometimes 😅. I moved away at 20, I’m 40 now. My nerves have acclimated to warmer weather, I went back in January a while back and when I went outside from the airport the cold literally took my breath away. 😂
Thanks "kid" ;) You brought sumthn to my attention! In arkansas.. but we do get cold acoulpe months out of the year.. I have noropathy.. so gloves on 4 months a year...
I really liked this video topic and would enjoy the yearly update. I'll also say i liked you bringing up and discussing ammo and holsters to go with it. I always like to hear what experienced shooters use on that front! Thank you.
You are thinking too much into this and I will bet you have never had any training. Look into bravo concealment or las concealment(plenty of other options too). Speer gold dots or federal hst for ammo. Don’t get caught up in magic bullets and calibers, it’s a pistol and shot placement is critical. Dry practice is free and takes ten minutes a day.
I also carry appendix but I got a glock48 so I put a striker control device on it for holstering purposes. I honestly feel that all striker fired guns designed for carry should come with a striker control device already installed in them. Majority of NDs are during the holstering process and this is such a cheap and simple fix to nearly guarantee you won’t have a ND when holstering.
You got me into my first gun and I am getting close to my next gun purchase. Being the self proclaimed CZ fanboy you are (lol), I’d love to see a CZ P-07 vs the CZ P10C video! Those are the two i’m trying to decide between. Thanks! Keep up the fire videos man!
Nice job (as usual) I love my Staccato P and have been looking at a P07 and you have definitely made my mind up for me. Your Wife does a nice job shooting the Firearms and the video too! Thanks for all your hard work in the video production. Have a good one!
I was hoping to see Canik MC9 on the list. Chris did have a reliable copy of it that he reviewed. Many buyers on Canik group at Reddit had issues that required new springs or other fixed to resolve.
Caniks are good value....when they work. I had a Mete SFT that had problems with the Ejector and a TP9 SFX with a bad slide catch. Fix both, sold both. You get what you pay fore I guess.
@@808G8GT My polymer Canik Rival has been problem free other than I accidentally detached on end of the slide release/lock spring while cleaning it once. I don't recall reading any major problems with it versus all the reports of common issues with the MC9 and the Rival-S on Reddit.
Mine had the issues, pretty unfortunate since I had 2 caniks before and never had a problem. Not sure if it's just a spring issue, you could pull the trigger out of battery and the striker would lightly strike the primer. Pretty sketch
@Rmaxilla no lol read my comment. Mc9 had and still has major issues. As far as tp9, the other pistols in its class...there are better options. This is all coming from a canik fanboy. Thousands of mc9s had major issues
Definitely agree with the choice of the C2. I have one and love it. I also have a BUL SASII U/L. It’s lighter and it’s the only gun I have with an optic right now, so it’s my first choice. Both these guns are partially your fault because you reviewed them positively…in both cases, you were right. Great vid as always. Your editor/producer/Mrs. needs a raise.
Ive tried them all except sticcato, and ended up staying with springfield hellcat pro, that polished DOUBLE feed ramp will feed EVERYTHING which makes me feel comfortable as a tool to save my life, my 2nd go too would be the echelon which also has the polished double feed ramp which makes these guns stupid reliable
I just got a new carry gun yesterday. I was fully expecting to walk out with a P365 but ended up going home with an FN Reflex MRD. Trigger out of the box felt better to me and the FDE color is just clean looking. Wasn’t able to see the M&P but may eventually get one of those as well since they are very economical.
@@direraven6277 I did. I wasn’t expecting to like it or even look at it but saw it and liked it as I’m a sucker for overpriced FN peanut butter. Felt the trigger and the grip angle and I was hooked. To me, it instantly felt better than the 365 and I’m coming from a g43 which I hate. Worst case scenario I have to go get a macro cuz the FN stinks but I just left the local indoor range and it ran fine through 200 rounds of fmj and 30 rounds of hst. Not much but so far so good.
I agree with you on not needing a dot for carry. You are most likely going to use it in a danger close situation, it's going to be point and shoot. I still have one on my 43x with a 7a light though, reason being it allows the 43x to also be my night stand gun if I don't feel like swapping out to the 45 when I get home. Also the 7a light gives me a stand off point so if someone was on top of me and I had to get it out and shoot, the light will hopefully keep their gut from pushing my slide out of battery!
For me it was the 43x and it's solely because I got bear paws for hands so that extra grip was so nice for me. If I had smaller hands I would probably went a different route though. But I think it's great we as consumers are so spoiled with EDC options now. Wasn't always like this. Even my more liberal family members are getting CCW permits and ask me for recommendations. I just take them to the store and have them hold and dry fire a bunch of guns and tell them to buy the one that feels the best in their hand.
If you like 43x, try CR920P; it outshoots 43X and 48 any day of the week. It's like a gucciest and comped G43. It comes with a 10 and a 13rd mag which should fit all hand sizes. I like 10 for concealability but you might prefer 13 for the grip. My friend who also got it put his P365XL up for sale after two range trips.
You are the luckiest guy in the world to have such a beautiful wife who is that your side always when you were shooting and she loves to shoot too. She has such a beautiful personality. You guys make a great pair. Thank you.
I agree with you about no red dot on my EDC gun. My rotation of EDC pistols. 1. Hellcat Pro, the only pistol I never had to make any addition to. 2. GLOCK 43x 3. Hellcat Original 4. Sig p365 Tacops w/ Wilson Combat grip 5. GLOCK 19 when I have to travel to high crime areas
I defintiely agree with you about the undershirt comment to fix grip stippling. I run an XMacro and the grip rubs so badly. The gun is so worth it for the money though. Great all-around gun for $700 making it good for a starter pistol.
Chris, in case you haven’t heard, it appears that Paul Harrell is losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. I’m on a mission to get his channel to a million subscribers before we lose him. Any chance you could help?
Excellent video, thank you. Obviously our hands are all different and we all have different opinions. My buddy has the original 365, and I’ve shot it a bunch. I opted for the hellcat instead, just based on how it fits my hand when I shoot, but the 365 is an excellent choice. The 43X is my second favorite. Easy to shoot , easy to carry and the longer grip is much better for my hands. Thank you again for your videos
Great review, and all great guns. I own 3 of the 5 listed. Gotta find what works for you, and for me it’s the Hellcat Pro. I didn’t want to love it, and yes it is snappy, but I can’t make it fail and for whatever reason (probably the great factory sights and texture, it definitely isn’t the trigger:)I can hit at distance considerably better than any of the others listed. Love the channel!!
I had issues with the grip size on the P365, absolutely tiny and just had way too small of a length of pull for me. Switched to the shield plus which has longer (front to back) grip and fills out the hand better without being really any thicker. Shoot it much better. P365 is still a great gun.
I’ve phalanx for about a year and a half now for 7 different firearms. I LOVE THEM! plus after speaking with the owner i found out he originally lived very close to my current house. Small world but a WONDERFUL company
I like talon grips on my pistols. The smooth rubber didn't work for me. I went backwards with a granulated rubber on my competition and skateboard tape on my daily. The sand paper doesn't bother me and really sticks in my hand.
Love these videos, thank you for your reviews! They are the best I’ve found. Straightforward and no bs! Question: why the c2 over the cs? Would love to know your reasoning
Shield plus is such a great option and is really under the radar for most people. I love it because it carries small and shoots big. With factory mags from 10-15 rounds it’s a versatile, rock solid reliable choice. Side note the 15 round magazine is awesome!
Dang it Chris, I bought a P-07 after hearing your endorsement of it and within 2 weeks I bought a second CZ (75 SP-01 Tactical) and I'm now a huge fanboy. I can't say enough good things about it and can't believe how good it shoots, I laugh when I hear someone say their gun of any brand is a better choice. It's all your fault that I'm now a CZ junkie.
I'm shorter with small fingers so I like to carry the most: 1)P365, 2)Shield Plus 3.1", 3)P365XL, & 4)PC Shield Plus 4" ported barrel. All carried IWB @ 3:30 in a Clinger 2-clip tuckable Holster w/comfort pad so carrying all day is easy. And I am more accurate with the Shield's as well as the grip module, sights, & trigger needs no upgrading, as do the Sigs.
I absolutely love p365x macro non-comp 3170 rounds through it absolutely no issues how to get comfortably all day at work and sit with it couldn't be happier great video by the way
Chris great video as always this being a older video. Not sure if you review them or not. But in a future video would you consider talking about liability insurance reference concealed carry. And what insurance would you recommend thanks so much
I’m glad I live in Indiana where we can open carry, even though I don’t open carry. It allows people here to carry a full size pistol with high cap mags. I cant get on board with sub compact pistols. I just wear a shirt over my full size pistol at the 3 o’clock position like I did for 20 years as a LEO. It’s what I’m use to, so if it prints in a store no big deal, but I do try to keep it concealed. Every 3rd person seems to be carrying in IN, and nobody freaks out about it.
I dig the list. My duty gun is Staccato P with an RMR. I used to carry a Shield Plus 4" performance cntr and had it milled for a dot. Great gun but a few months ago, I switched to a Sig P365 XMacro. The 17 rnd mags sold me. Threw a Holosun EPS on it and man do I love it. I also of course carry others sometimes to include -Sig P320 X Compact with Holosun 508 -Glock 42 -Beretta Storm Compact LTT with Holosun 507K
I daily carry my H&K P2000, and i carry it in double action. I also carry a Kimber Ultra Carry 2 TLE, hard to beat a 1911 and I occasionally carry my H&K P30LS V3. Im 6'3" and around 220 and carry a bit bigger and the smaller guns are just too small for my big mitts and my son has even bigger hands and he carries a full size 1911. As you have said on many of your videos its what suits you best and what you can shoot accurately.
I carry a SIG P365 XL slide (non ported 3.7" barrel, iron night sights retained) with a Icarus ace Macro frame, EPS carry optic, TLR7A flex, manual safety, 17+1 capacity with x2 backup 17 rd mags. align tactical mag release, mcarbo flat trigger and whenever the Armory Craft enhanced safety levers are released... I sold my Staccato C2, because I honestly dont see myself carry anything else.. imho this is the pinnacle of carry.
I have shot a lot of handguns since 1986, but there is only one brand I use when my life depends on it and that is Glock. I have used handguns in the military, in law enforcement and off duty/civilian, My concealed carry now is a Glock 29 Gen 5 and it is an amazing concealed gun that will never fail you and since it is a 10mm and I use max loads, does it very quickly neutralize the threat. I have experienced the difference between a 9mm and a 10mm in real situations and I am NEVER going to go back to 9mm. But I do understand that the 10mm with max loads is not for all. It is better to hit well with a 9mm than to miss or hit poorly with a 10mm.

The S&W Shield Plus is my carry gun, so I really like your list. The Shield Plus has an optic for the previously stated reason. Love both guns.
You focus on the target not the sights for both the iron sights and dots.
@@Scientist_Salarian Just out of curiosity why do you use the magpul 12 round magazine over the Glock oem 12 round magazine??
“If you have the skill.” Best statement I have heard in my day today.
OFC cz Is on the list! If you’re reading this and never owned a CZ, go to the range and rent one out, they’re amazing guns! I own a wide variety of handguns going ranging from $300 up to a staccato XC, and the CZ line of handguns just have a unique distinction when holding and shooting them
I love my Glock 43x and is worth mentioning running it with shield arms mags for 15 + 1 with no extra length on the grip.
He usually mentions it and pins those comments to let people know. I guess you can’t remember them all
I also carry with the Shield Arms mags and mag release.
I’m a big fan of the P365XL configuration. The original 365 is just too small unless I wanted a single finger grip backup gun. The XL is perfect in the “just barely large enough but still very concealable”
Honestly I’d have bought the macro if it had been out at the time but I don’t mind the XL.
I ended up getting the macro and eventually buying an XL grip module 😅
@AVG_Joey there's some great deals right now for the xl spectre comp for less than the macro comped version. XL spectre comp comes with 1 17rd and 2 12 rd mags as well. I'm debating just getting the spectre comp over the macro. What made you switch out your grip module?
It shoots like a bigger gun.
What that at 2:04 all about.
I have several carry guns but I go back to the shield. It's just reliable and comfortable.
Top notch list and I can't argue with any of your choices but I would have had to include the CZ Shadow 2 compact.
Carrying a colored, expensive, elitist, hobby pistol concealed everyday? 4.9 inch barrel, 30 ounces? Sounds ego driven and stupid
Totally kicked up my interest in CZ pistols picked up the Shadow 2 black and blue this week. Loving it.
Glad to hear there is some sensible Lefties.
I got my P-07 thanks to your channel. I love it!
Always love these lists. Yes… Please keep doing them regularly.
And…REALLY looking forward to Mrs. Outlaw’s list!
I edc a Shield Plus 9mm and P365 XL. Great edc guns! Super reliable, great triggers, and can shoot +p ammo
I'd enjoy seeing either your top 5 nightstand guns or top 5 home defense guns.
Yeah man, that would be great.
AR15 with a surefire light, no video needed.
Shower gun time 🗿
Idk if you guys heard, a guy actually used a shower gun against an intruder very recently!
@@HWG-wm8ldI have shotguns personally, but honestly, Remington 570 and you’re good.
I carry the C2, with the ice comp. I love it so much! Wish the mags were less expensive but it is what it is.
I love my Beretta Apx A1 Compact the most slept on gun.
You are the Man with the plan. I so appreciate the work you do! Thanks for the informative reviews that you provide.
Could you possibly do a video on Top SA/DA pistols? Thank you. Love your videos!!
Thanks so much for the list! Excited to see Mrs Outlaws picks
Good choices, Chris. I went with the larger version of the Shield Plus PC myself.
Great video. Very informative. Was hoping the HK vp9sk would make an appearance, but all of the guns in the video are awesome.
Thanks "kid" ;)
You brought sumthn to my attention!
In arkansas.. but we do get cold acoulpe months out of the year..
I have noropathy.. so gloves on 4 months a year...
Young buck, When its cold you can carry a larger arm cause of more clothing
From upstate ny where you freeze 7-8 months of the year gloves can definitely be necessary
"At this altitude, I can run flat out for a half-mile before my hands start shaking"
@HWG-wm8ld Thanks for your two cents.
Nobody is going to tell me where I can or can't go. Freedom right there.
I couldn't agree with your list more brother. Well thought out and logical. Bravo!
I was really surprised to see the Hi-Point C-9 make the list. Exquisite taste as always, Chris. Thanks for sharing.
😂
Lol 😂
P07❤🙌👏😘
Agree 100%. If I need to go somewhere, then I'm going, but I'm also going to be a bit more prepared.
Nice job (as usual) I love my Staccato P and have been looking at a P07 and you have definitely made my mind up for me. Your Wife does a nice job shooting the Firearms and the video too! Thanks for all your hard work in the video production. Have a good one!
I love my m&p shield plus 9 reliable & great straight out the box
Right, or tp9 elite. I feel like he just changes his mind every couple months just for new content
9:52 Old Age---"Hold my beer". I said the same thing in my 30s and early 40s. Not saying it so much in my 50s.
You should watch his video on the reflex. Did not do well.
CZ P-09c was my first handgun and I loved it, makes me want to get a p-07. I currently carry a 3in 1911
Great video! Keep up the good work Chris!!
Thank you.
I liked the lineup here. Us poor peeps drooling over the Staccato. LoL
Staccato🤔😳🤮
Shield plus is my go to. Essentially perfect sidearm. I got the 15 rd factory mags. No TS
I agree with you about no red dot on my EDC gun.
My rotation of EDC pistols.
1. Hellcat Pro, the only pistol I never had to make any addition to.
2. GLOCK 43x
3. Hellcat Original
4. Sig p365 Tacops w/ Wilson Combat grip
5. GLOCK 19 when I have to travel to high crime areas
Agreed. he talks about it at 9:50 for anyone wondering
I wear bifocals and find the dot helps.
@@needlamp2147no shit ,I have an xds and 365 and have kinda hard time using both and I go at least once a week to range
Brilliant idea
Paul is a legend🙌 needing our prayers!
Praying for Paul
Definitely do future videos like this. You have the option to change weapons more than most of us so more is better in seeing how they actually work.
Prayers for Paul Harrell
As a bigger guy myself havin your extra appinon about this kinda stuff is massive thanks
I had issues with the grip size on the P365, absolutely tiny and just had way too small of a length of pull for me. Switched to the shield plus which has longer (front to back) grip and fills out the hand better without being really any thicker. Shoot it much better. P365 is still a great gun.
Good excuse to buy grip module upgrades
@@Sk8RJOSH94, eh, or have a better (for me) gun out of the box for less than the Sig alone, let alone also buying grip modules for it.
But ..why buy a whole new gun for a grip issue. P365 has buttloads of grips avaliable.
@@DavidMilesMusic more expensive than just selling the P365 and buying the shield plus
@@horneblendeandcamguyall you need was an XL frame to make it better..

S&W Shield Plus is my carry Thanks for your videos. Thank you stay well
Between my PSA Dagger Compact and my Canik MC9, I'm truly happy with my EDCs.
I've been concealed carrying for the last 15 years or so. Many different guns carried. The S&W shield plus has been hands down my favorite.
Why isn't the Hellcat Pro on your list??
Go examine dimensions vs the micros
At least the regular hellcat.
Because it’s a POS.

Thanks for the info
I also carry a shield plus with EPS carry. 13 in the mag and 15 round backup mag.
I also of course carry others sometimes to include
-Sig P320 X Compact with Holosun 508
-Glock 42
-Beretta Storm Compact LTT with Holosun 507K
My winter carry is a Tisas 1911 A1. It is not compact by any means, but is slim enough to conceal carry, along with carrying iwb.

I sold my Staccato C2, because I honestly dont see myself carry anything else.. imho this is the pinnacle of carry.
I have shot a lot of handguns since 1986, but there is only one brand I use when my life depends on it and that is Glock.
I have used handguns in the military, in law enforcement and off duty/civilian,
My concealed carry now is a Glock 29 Gen 5 and it is an amazing concealed gun that will never fail you and since it is a 10mm and I use max loads, does it very quickly neutralize the threat.
I have experienced the difference between a 9mm and a 10mm in real situations and I am NEVER going to go back to 9mm.
But I do understand that the 10mm with max loads is not for all.
It is better to hit well with a 9mm than to miss or hit poorly with a 10mm.
