My Full Stretching Routine | Follow Along

- Stretching is essential. It's one of the reasons I've managed to stay fairly injury free.
Keep in mind I don't do the exact same stretching routine every training session but this is a general idea of how long I stretch and what muscles I focus on.
I like to stretch for 5 minutes before training and 5-8 minutes after training.
And yes I'm talking about every session.

You really are a one stop shop dude. I have had a kinda routine for ages. But this hits all what I need and is under 10 mins. Which is perfect! This is something that can be done for every day. Most people think that a 45 min stretch 2 or 3 times a week is suffice, when in reality little and often is nearly always better as it's much easier to adhere to and the body responds better in my experience!

agewise i recommend extending each section to at least 30 secs to a minute... has become a staple to my current old boy workout routine.... good stuff
Gabriel is already really flexible so this routine works for him but for everybody else who is trying to become more flexible, holding the stretch for 30 - 60 seconds is more beneficial

These are great. My joints haven't been the same since I worked at golfcourse last year. Probably gonna need to add some more shoulder/tri stretches though otherwise my shoulder joints keep popping.

Hey Gabriel, what is the difference between stretching and warmup ?
Warmup is light exercise to get your heart pumping. Stretching is loosening up your muscles. Without warmup your more likely to pull something.
Had a coach when I was young explain it like cheese. Try to bend cold cheese and it'll break, warm it up and it'll stretch.
How to achieve that JCVD position or the self head kicks?

It takes time so don't rush it.
