This is a ton of tech in a fairly simple watch; silicon escapement; dual 180-degreee opposed silicon hairsprings; magnetic balance pivots with "floating" balance; 72,000 VpH oscillation rate; adjusted in six positions to -1/+3 per day. A GPHG Aiguille d'or winner in 2014, the 7727 remains on of the most advanced watches available at any price in 2018.
    Best,
    Tim

    Great review Tim.
This is the kind of watch Abraham Breguet himself would be proud of ☺

the 10HZ in a modern font spoils this watch. In fact it would be best left off altogether, otherwise beautiful!

This won the last Chronometrie event in 2015 with the all time highest score. So that stated range accuracy is probably there just to remain modest, and stop owners to send in their piecs for un-warranted regulation.
The trial results of the same caliber were much much better.
The second most accurate watch in history of the event was a Gruebel-Forsey, then a JLC gyroturbillon.

Daini-Seikosha (Seiko) once had a 180,000 BPH (50 bps) prototype movement in consideration for the Neuchâtel Chronometer Competition in 1966-67. This prototype (along with a 72,000 BPH (20 bps) movement) were outperformed by a 36,000 BPH (10 bps) movement they used in the competition. In 2005, TAG Heuer presented the 'Calibre 360 Concept Chronograph' at BaselWorld with a 360,000 BPH (100 bps) movement, then in 2011 TAG Heuer introduced the 'Mikrotimer Flying 1000', with a 3,600,000 BPH (1000 bps) movement, then in 2012 TAG Heuer introduced the 'Mikrogirder 2000', with a 7,200,000 BPH (2000 bps) movement. TAG Heuer also presented the 'Mikrogirder 10000' in 2012, but (alas) it operated at 'only' 7,200,000 BPH (2000 bps).

After a couple years of dropping in on various vids featuring the now industry legend Tim Mosso (of Italian extraction?) my command of the English language has nudged up not a few notches. That’s no trivial comment of an American. He is the definitive vibrant and informative go to watch guy on the Internet. Long may he continue to be so. All hail Tim Mosso!😃

Beautiful watch, really cool complications, i love their Geyoushi style dial and case and their absolute high quality finish and execution. outstanding dress watch with unparalleled dial and movement.
Thank you Tim for the share and review.
    Best, Abdul

Absolutely. There's been some debate about the "10Hz" signature on the dial, but it's fairly discreet and only shows in severe light. Otherwise, this is pretty close to the Platonic ideal of what a modern-era Breguet watch should be: rare, beautiful, and technically audacious.
      Best,
      Tim

    10Hz is 10/s, not 20/s

    • @hlash99
      @hlash99 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Daniel Martini 1Hz = 2vibrations and a single vibration translates to movement of the second hand. Thus 1Hz = 2seconds
