The Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar features a 39mm 18k yellow gold case surrounding a silver dial on a brown alligator strap with 18k yellow gold deployant buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, power reserve indicator, leap year indicator and perpetual calendar, and moonphase. The watch also measures 9.3mm in thickness and 47.6mm from lug-to-lug.

When people - myself included - discuss modern Breguet "wristwatch style," we're speaking of watches like this 5327. The case profile has been a fixture since Daniel Roth helped to resurrect the marque during the 1970s and 80s. The scattered registers on a rose lathe-turned, solid gold, and silvered dial are emblematic of the brand. The dial, in particular, is designed to recall the actual A.L. Breguet pocket watch era when complications generally fell directly atop their pivots thus creating the "scattered" effect on the dial layout.

I don't like that it has a power reserve even dough it's an automatic, this way it will basically always shows that it is fully charged

For the northern hemisphere the age of the moon dial runs the wrong way on this watch. In de northern hemisphere the waxing moon is shaped like a P (like Premier) and a waning moon like a d (dernier). But I guess people in the southern hemisphere would feel the same about watches with a "standard" upright moonphase dial
