I miss this campground. Me and my family used to go there every year in the early 90s. We always had a spot backed up to the creek and loved fishing there.

Very nice Campground and that was really neat Karen that you speak at women's conferences...You are very Blessed to be able to do that....Wow never have been to Frankfort Ky before looks like a great adventure day for my husband and I .... it is only a little over 2 hours from Dayton Ohio where we live...those buildings are just amazing, looks like the Whitehouse...what a gorgeous view from the cemetery....Great history and thanks for taking us along GOD BLESS

The train bridge is still active, the city has plans to remodel the other part to be a walking trail. The Capitol dome is under construction and is being retiled. Glad you visited Frankfort.
My entire family is from Ky. I was born in Letcher Co but raised in northeastern Ohio. Me, my husband and children have lived in Virginia since 1986. I have a lot of cousins in Ky.
The second week of August We are finely moving from COLD Wisconsin to Columbia Kentucky... We've been trying to get out of Wisconsin 48 years. It's amazing how everything comes together when it's God's will in God's time... That's the greatest lesson we've learned that when you put your life into God's hands you have to learn to try and be patient knowing all the while that God has the BEST planed for us.... Love you kids be blessed on Jesus name... BBE..
Another great video. Enjoyed seeing the capitol and Daniel Boone's grave. We always stop (either coming or going) when travelling to the Smokies at Rebecca Ruth Candies in Frankfort. We have never visited the main museum, but use the easy on/off interstate location to pick up treats. Even if you don't like bourbon balls, their other chocolates are DELICIOUS!!!

Daniel Boone's first burial site and monument is in Marthasville, Missouri. The Daniel Boone Homestead that was his birthplace is located in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

I’m sorry! If I heard you correctly, you said that Daniel Boone was born at the Davy Crockett birth place state park in Limestone, Tennessee. I’m sure that this was a “slip of the tongue,” if I heard you correctly. Daniel Boone was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1734. There is a state Hisoric site that you can visit where he was born.
Enjoy the content. I do have one concern though. With temperatures being extremely hot, y’all need to protect Wilson’s paws. The asphalt will burn his feet.🙁
I'm a little confused. You said you have a video in your library of Daniel Boones' birthplace in Tennessee. He was born in Pennsylvania. So who's birthplace is your video of in Tennessee?
Daniel Boone must be constantly turning over in his grave from being moved back to Kentucky from Missouri. Boone left Kentucky a very bitter man for being denied any land to live there. That is why he moved to Missouri.
