These are really great cars! I bought a 2008 UK supplied, silver wagon with the 18" Omanyt alloys - 1 owner, 27.5k miles in August 2023, albeit I paid £13k. There are only about 150 R36 Passat cars registered in the UK. This one looks to be very nice. A good price, if 100k miles is no problem. The driving experience is awesome! It's a bit crashy (firm suspension) and jerky (DSG gearbox) at slow town speeds (Wales and 20 mph urban limit???!!!!), but on the motorway, it is a spectacular car.
Ive had my black 08 saloon since about 2016 and I still love it. Only had 24 k on it when i bought it. I paid 13 as well, which seemed too much at the time but it's been excellent. Now at 60k. Had to replace some suspension items but it's been totally reliable. The issue now is rust, especially as I live in scotland....at the seaside. I waxoiled it straight away but the front wings are going and there's some bubbles appearing af the back too. I'm hoping to get another 10 years out it....we shall see.

Not many but a few were sold in the UK. Very pricey to get a UK registered variant tho!
