Yeah. What made this a good movie is that you didn't have actors pretending to play football, you had real NFL players playing the game from both sides.
This is the comedy we don't have anymore unfortunately. To be able to hear these stories we have to watch their podcast which is not a bad thing. Kevin Nash episode on Stone cold's podcast was pretty awesome
Teach teamwork, humility, and sportsmanship. Not a bad option, so long as it’s voluntary. Those participating could get consideration on their parole or more privileges.
Funny enough, something like that did happen in juvenile hall. Remember that movie Gridiron Gang? It was based on the story of the Camp Kilpatrick’s football team. From what I understand it did help rehabilitate most of the kids who were incarcerated. So in practice a prison sports league could help. Unfortunately, they ended it’s sports program back in 2012z
Some of the actors in this movie are former NFL players: Bill Goldberg Bob Sapp Terry Crews "Playmaker" Michael Irvin Bill "Romo" Romanowski Brian "The Boz" Bosworth Conrad Goode Rob Moore In other words, they have an experience
That why this was one of Adam's better movies since you didn't have actors pretending to be football players so that the game was more like a real football game.
@@nobody-x2b hey just asking did you get over your insecurities? or did you realize that people discussing media like all of humanity has done for centuries doesnt make you any dumber than you already see yourself?
Well, if they add WWE Hall of Famer John "Bradshaw" Layfield in this movie, it will be interesting, but Bob Sapp who's a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and a Guard in Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, that Clothesline From Hell is not as powerful as Bradshaw
Chris Berman was one of the best to ever do it! I still remember him saying, “he could get away from everybody…but the damn lawyers!” When Lawyer Malloy sacked a young Michael Vick 😅 or him having way too much fun with Fumatu Ma’afala’s name 😅 “he’s a bad ma’fala” 😅
Personally, I prefer the censored version of the movie where they did "I think I broke his frickin neck." Sure, they already did that with the original movie, but frankly, it makes more sense to me, plus they extend the joke a bit in Adam Sandler's version.
watching the movie in the cinema I didnt recognize Michael Irvin till he pulled on a helmet and ran a pattern ... i guess poor social skills but a butt ton of football knowledge! ;o)
Why ib football movies do they reference the clock running out while the play is still going on? Even if time expired before Nelly scored the touchdown the play would have counted
Definitely one of Adam Sandler's best movies, and that's saying something

Switowski: This is fun.
I find That line so hilarious because it sounds so genuine.
Nash, Austin, Khali, Goldberg... this movie was actually fun.
You know they all just had a blast making this movie, and I bet ya they all had a hard time keep a straight face most of the time.
Joey Diaz
Don't forget Sapp.
Don't forget the late Prince Philip
You forgot Terry Crews & Adam Sandler bruh
“yes. him. out” just put a hit out on bro midgame😭

When the cat decides TO NOT play with his food… it’s over
😂😂😂
The Saints would be proud
how anyone could have kept a straight-face at Kevin Nash when he interacts with Steve Austin is beyond me, I die every time I see it. lol
They must have done a bunch of takes judging from the grins on the guys behind steve

Somewhere on TH-cam there's an old video about an Argentinian prison that ran a rugby team. In that case it really worked.

I know, I've been reading about all these actors before the movie was released in my hometown of Dubai city
You forgot about the original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns
That why this was one of Adam's better movies since you didn't have actors pretending to be football players so that the game was more like a real football game.
@jessegaskill502 I said in this movie, Roman Reigns is not in this movie, and I know he's in the NFL and CFL
I’d be pissed if during a real NFL game, the player on my fantasy team got pulled by a hand to the face mask and it doesn’t get called out by the refs
Just like the past season.
Brother it's a movie about a guard vs prison football game. It's not that deep.

Those two were probably the worst on set for when they needed to be serious.
3:05 Nash screaming like that... 😂
“You what Paul…for you to say something like that in the mist of all this….🥺🥺”
Damn I'm about to said that too 🤣
The entire broadcast booth in unison: "I think he just shit himself" may be the best unnamed character scene in the movie
That’s the “I may not be on defense, but HE is!!!” Play 🤣🤣🤣
4:03 that face by K.N🤣
I giggled
Pretty sure that was improvised because Austin almost laughed.
Honestly, Nash got a lot more credibility and respect from me for his acting chops in this movie. He really seemed like he was having fun here
I wish they would go back to making family fun movies i miss those
I can literally hear the cracking bones from everyone in this game

the cameos worked really well in this
At the time Nash was working at TNA Wrestling
What makes it better was most of his lines were improve. Only line he was actually given was “who drank all the damn Gatorade”😂
