The Ballad of the Witches' Road was written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

No matter how much of a big shot, and revered, and admired of an artist an actor is, they never seem happier than when they're just flexing as a performer.,
Are they singing live or lip syncing vocals? As far as I know Patti Lupone is the only trained singer.i barely see Debra Jo Rupp singing beyond bobbing her head.

@@gabelogan5877 Mr. Joe Locke grew up performing musical theatre on the Isle of Man and performed on Broadway earlier this year in Sweeney Todd. I imagine a few of the others are as well.

Yes (Big Joe Locke fan here who's a theatre kid before a screen actor) and on top of that, singing and chanting just fits the series so well! Witches been singing enchantments all their lives.

Seeing Joe perform next to his idol Patti LuPone and with all these badass amazing experienced gorgeous woman on stage makes me smile so much. Bursting with pride and love for Joe.
I know right. When I first saw the trailer one of my first thoughts was how much Joe must be geeking out getting to work with patti, especially since they've both done Sweeney Todd. Fun fact, Patti has played a witch before in the supernatural Horror show Penny Dreadful, alongside Eva Green.

I’m so proud of Joe being in the marvel as his second acting job for the screen is a huge milestone
Second screen acting work because he did stage work inbetween! So insane! Debuting on Off-West End and on Broadway on top of Heartstopper and Marvel all in less than 4 years after getting into the industry to the off chance of that 1 single open casting call.... the stars aligned for this one here.

Ahh. This sounds incredible. The Lopez's are just genius' and its really giving that Wicked / Hocus Pocus vibes and Kathryn Hahn kills it. No matter what you think, this is going to be a fun ride with a great cast in the magical side of the MCU. Loved WandaVision and so happy we're getting to delve into that sandbox again
While arguably a series no one asked for, any product that explores an uncharted side of the mcu is certainly welcomed. Hopefully the execution will work in unision with the concept, cause so many of this shows have good ideas and more than questionable executions. Of course, she likely could carry the whole show on her own but it would be nice if it doesn’t come to that.
@@pedrovallefin8406 Oh yeah I totally agree with you not all the shows are perfect. Olivia Colman carried Secret Invasion which could have been incredible if it had been set up properly and the Sharon Carter of it all. But yeah Kathryn is going to kill it alongside Aubrey, Patti and the others.

Knowing Marvel, they probably had them do it “in character” and her character, Ms.Hart, is definitely the least witchy, which is why she’s seemingly doing the least. I bet Marvel told her to cover up herself fully in the robe and nod along

I'm hoping the citizens of West View are campaigning for Tyler Hayward's release and see him and Agatha as their heroes. And Jimmy Woo is getting fired for losing Ralph and aiding Monica Rambeau and Wanda.

Maybe emulating something else instead of generic superheroes doing superhero stuff will be what Marvel needs. Then again I could be wrong.
@@camseki9588 I feel like the Mcu won people over because it made its characters human and they had to step up to be heroic. I agree there are plenty of marvel comic stories they should create that demonstrate humanity more while blending supernatural. This to me feels a little too Disney and just not the marvel I’ve known as a reader/fan for 20+ years. I hope I am wrong and understand everyone enjoys different things

I don’t know how to explain it, but hearing this in clips in the trailer gave me the same feeling I had hearing the Misty Mountains song in the first Hobbit trailer as a kid.
