I had the privilege of visiting Dealy Plaza in 1991 - I JUST missed the filming of the movie "JFK" as a matter of fact - so everything looked pretty much the same it did in 1963. Though I will not deny there are definitely fishy elements to this case, I also find it hard to believe that there could have been as many gunman in the plaza as some of the loonier conspiracy theorists want us to believe without nobody noticing. Sorry, but to visit the area is to marvel at just how small the area actually is. In other words, it wasn't impossible for one man to have fired from the 6th floor window. Which makes the undisputed fact that this was probably the most photographed murder in history - at least 22 cameras were on the president at the time of the attack - and we STILL can't come to an irrefutable conclusion. Ugh.

We visited Dealey Plaza a few years ago. It’s definitely a surreal place, and not quite the same as seeing it in videos.
There’s definitely some details that have been concealed to the public, in my opinion. Maybe a full blown conspiracy, maybe a quick cover-up by a few people involved. But the “official” explanation doesn’t quite do it for me.
    Thanks for sharing! 💙

      Don't worry:
      Oswald owned the rifle.
      Oswald smuggled the rifle.
Oswald's print was on the rifle.
Oswald's prints were on the sniper nest boxes in exactly the spots they would be had he been firing from it.
No bullets or fragments were ever found that didn't match to Oswald's rifle.
Victims' reactions in the Zapruder film demonstrate they were hit by the same bullet, and ergo from behind.
Kennedy clearly suffers a massive exit wound at the right temple consistent with a shot from behind.
Connally's said the shots all came from behind.
Witnesses under the sixth floor window said the shots all came from overhead.
A man was seen firing in the window who could plausibly have been Oswald.
No unidentified persons were ever caught inside the building.
Oswald was the only employee inside the building during the shooting to immediately flee the plaza.
Oswald took evasive action to get to his other gun.
Oswald ignored his cab driver and landlady when they spoke to him.
A long and steady chain of witnesses (nearly a dozen ID'd him) demonstrate Oswald shooting Officer Tippit, fleeing, reloading, exchanging words with one, trying to hide from passing cops, and ducking into the theater.
Oswald was caught red-handed trying to shoot a second cop minutes later.
Oswald fought so violently 3 officers were injured just disarming him.
Oswald, after asking about the penalty for cop-killing, just mumbled, "Well, they say it just takes a second to die," right to the police who arrested him.
Bullets from Tippit's body were matched to Oswald's revolver.
      Oswald lied to police.
Oswald refused to cooperate with investigators.
Oswald slept like a baby in his cell.
Oswald refused help from the President of the Dallas Bar Association pending learning whether he could get his first choice, a lawyer he'd never met living in another state who specialized in left-wing causes.
Oswald acted so smug and placid he even convinced his own visiting brother he was guilty.
Oswald, asked on live TV if he shot Kennedy, doesn't make the slightest attempt to blurt out anything about any conspiracy, and instead just shrugs a hollow, rambling reply that all but dodges the question....

If you notice, the easiest shot possible would have been as the limousine was coming TOWARDS the book depository. The Presidential limousine would have been slow coming around the corner plus pinned amongst the vehicles in front and behind.

    • @aaronz7056

Oswald was mad but he wasn't stupid. If he opened fire when the limo was on Houston it would have zoomed past him and left him a sitting duck for the Secret Service agents.

Only damage to the limo is a crack caused by a bullet fragment to the windshield and the inside of the chrome plating, both still in the National Archives.

So keep in mind that the Sun was very bright that day and firing at the limousine would have been very difficult as Sun glare would have been interfering with the vision from the book depository.

  • @trumpwonandyouknowit
    @trumpwonandyouknowit ปีที่แล้ว +2

So as you see, it would make no sense conceding an easier shot for a more complicated shot. It would have been much easier shooting TOWARDS the limousine coming TOWARDS the building.

Thanks for sharing this! It’s worthwhile to mention that you were at the spot where Abraham Zapruder was standing/filming with his 8 mm camera, the Elm street pergola, it’s adjacent to the grassy knoll. It would’ve been interesting to see the area behind the fence atop the grassy knoll along with a slow panning shot of Dealey plaza while standing on the bridge-triple underpass.
