You can actually survive this somehow, but the game locks your health at like 10hp because you were supposed to die in one bullet. I think you can escape the bunker too.
Lol, Colonel Autumn would have made the Enclave make sense, leaving behind the childish mad scientist, death army bs from the previous games by couping against Eden (and not forgeting about it randomly at the end) becoming a joinable faction that makes the player wonder if the end justify the means, or how long are they willing to go, regarding sacrifices, to save the world. Sadly Bethesda wanted an amnesic Bond villain who wants to be an anti-hero, but who is terrible at it, and his army of minions with catoon levels of blind fanatism
I think Obsidian would let you join Enclave way earlier than here, but this could be a "this is your last chance to join Enclave moment" kinda like how Caesar give you his mark to forgive your sins... Or they could not let you join Enclave either, as cool as Obsidian and old fallout devs were, they too didn't let you join Enclave in F2 so 😅
If Obsidian made it either Autumn would somehow forget the code in a comedic way, or the code would somehow change. A lot of quest choices in NV where they should fail the quest instead cause a failsafe option. Such as finding the info you were supposed to get from an npc on their body or the terminal next to them.
At this point, I would sympathize with Autumn because he and many of the Enclave are definitely not pureblood humans given that they all came from Poseidon and Eden's plan is literal genocide on those he deemed "infected" with radiation while there's literal medicine to expunge radiation from your system. But nah, Emil had to make us either side with Eden's crazy plan or only reject it without asking Autumn why they need that purifier. And the BoS' change of heart fighting mutants was weird too.
@@CyberController- They already kinda were, but at least Autumn makes some reforms rather than just genociding everyone like Eden. It's not like we can know what would have happened afterwards though.
It would have been funny if they gave you an ending sequence…”So ends the life of the Lone Wanderer.”
"Who just kinda... gave up "
“Gullible and cowardly, he gave the code to the purifier to colonel Autumn, who killed him, shortly after.”
@@dude7813 LOL YES! That would be awesome

Eden is screaming internally, watching his FEV plan get ruined by Autumn twice in a row.

The strongest 10mm pistol to ever exist, the enclave was a real threat in fallout 3
It looks like he’s 1 HP before getting shot
Wonder how obsidian would've handled this script.

@@Private_ColceriI hated terminals in Fallout NV. Never used them, could never get them open.

You can get rid of the radiation, but not the changes it made to your DNA
Not that bad an ending tbh, Wasteland gets water and Eden's plans are foiled.
And the brotherhood doesn't turn into a dictatorial regime.
@@Chadorni No, but you can bet the Enclave does.

Something cooler could have happened, but that's too much to ask for out of bethesda

@JackRR15 I'm crying about the crying comments that are about crying... This is truly depressing :( 😭
Emil Pagliarulo doesn't like giving the player choices. The game has to punish the player for choosing wrong.
well the choice made here lets the enclave win thats the end
Honestly probably the best course of action for someone like Bethesda who’s too lazy to make an actual Enclave ending
