Imagine having a rent a cop threatening to tazer your players and then actually pepper spraying them. I can't believe the B1G and NCAA has let them off. They not only let them off but also fined Michigan for Ohio Soft's thuggery even by their sorry law enforcement.

I can't believe no one else is talking about the fact that Alabama - who was left out for SMU by the playoff committee - just happened to be matched up with Michigan, the school that the playoff committee chairman & spokesman Warde Manuel, is the athletic director of. Seems like quite a coincidence especially considering the lopsided record between the 2 schools this year. There's so many storyline & motivating factors for bama in this game:
#1 the Warde Manuel connection I just mentioned
#2 bama revenge for last year's Rose Bowl
& #3) revenge for Kalen Deboer for the Washington/Michigan natty, which was a much worse loss than the overtime thriller of the bama Rose Bowl.
So anyone who thinks bama may not be motivated enough, may want to reconsider that.
Headline is misleading. This has almost nothing about Michigan vs. Alabama in it. I jump skipped every 15 seconds through the whole things and couldn't even find it.
