Sonic I think it’s important to point out that humans aren’t aren’t naturally powerful and able to control ki effectively so it’d make sense that ki attacks would be rare among humans. And the few humans that do have an affinity for ki attacks (krillen, tien, Yamaha and choutzu) are clearly more naturally talented than Roshi since they’ve became much stronger than him with only a fraction of the time training.

A lifetime of growing up with Gohan and Goten, learning all of their tricks and how to fight against them, I am in no way surprised Trunks knows how to use the Kamehameha wave. Besides, he's a Saiyan, and therefore using energy blasts as strong as the Kamehameha wave is as easy as using the Galick Gun.

At that level its most likely an easier technique than most. My guess is you concentrate all of your Ki into a single point and release it while funneling maximum Ki into a prolonged blast. Concepts like that would be like walking to running for saiyans, seeing as harnessing Ki is like breathing for them. They probably discovered it fairly young in private just experimenting around with what they can do, the knowledge of what they were actually doing probably came later.
Krillin would be their uncle. Bc he grew up with goku as if they were brothers. Also goku feels like they're family anyway which is probably why he got so mad when frieza *Bombzoozeld* em.

How is this really surprising? The Kamehameha is one of the best known moves in the Dragonball univers. Goku learned it in seconds, so did others (even Yamcha lol). His best friend and sparring partner is Goten, who knows the Kamehameha. And maybe he's training with Gohan some times. This isn't such a great deal. The better question is: when did Krillin got a SSJ aura?
robloxlol123 I see your points, but Krillins aura was always white like the most human ones, even the Saiyans and Namekians have white auras in their normal states most of the time. I guess it is really a major error or it just looks yellow because there are two SSJs beside him.

@@TheProxy2 krillin does it the same/next day as well. It seems to be a pretty easy technique if you've honed your power well. It took roshi very long because he was a trailblazer. He did things nobody even thought of. It seems to me that earthican beam attacks are all like the kamehameha wave. Except for tri-beam but it is a similar idea in that instead of taking ones ki as a power source it take life force.
Its a simple move. Tien himself said back in dragonball that literally anyone can do it as he casually pulls off the biggest kamehameha that anyone has seen around the time

To be fair, anybody can learn this move in 5 seconds. In the 5 seconds it would take to say: Ka-me-ha-me-ha. Especially if they've been fused with a person who could do it...
When you fuse bodies with someone, you're minds also merge, so it stands to reason that they may retain some of each others knowledge. And like I said, most fighters adept in Ki Control don't usually struggle with the Kamehameha wave. The reason it was such a big deal in the past is because the concept of Ki Attacks was new to the protagonists.
Edit: In the Dragonball Super manga, Vegeta states that he knows he won't be able to achieve the same form as Goku right away after feeling it's power in the fusion.
@Paul Jakens Well, we can assume that the whole "lend me ur energy guyyysss" thing was just Trunks's intuition. And, since Trunks already infuses his ki into his sword when he fights with it (at least im pretty sure he does, correct me if im wrong.), infusing the shared spirit energy into it just makes sense.
I mean I like the "Krillin is weak meme" as much as any other. But from fighting expertise he is way beyond Goten and Trunks. Only their Super Saiyan forms and blood really boost them. Krillin is an actual dude who is a normal human that worked his ass off to be the maybe strongest (it's like him or Tien) AND is not a tall guy but still got the hottest girl in DB. Gohan did teach him. When Trunks is fighting Goten in the tournament, Goten uses it and calls it the Kamekameha. Turnks points out that it is called the Kamehameha. Gohan is the only one that he spent time with that uses the move. So Gohan likely showed him it while playing around.
To be quite honest, I agree with CornBread, but you got to remeber that he is half-saiyan and saiyans can learn techniques by only seeing then, He probably saw Gohan or Goten doing it, I think Gohan is the most probable, since he knows its Kamehameha and not Kamekameha.
Tien did say that the kamehameha is a very basic move at one point. It was in the tenkaichi tournament I believe. Iirc, he also said or implied that many other, more complicated wave moves can be derived from kamehameha, making kame like a base move or something. At least in the standards of the Z fighters and earth-grown saiyans like goten and trunks.
Everyone in Dragon Ball Z can do the Kamehameha. Vegeta doesn't do it because he doesn't want to use Goku's Earth moves. Vegeta and Frieza are pretty much the only main characters not seen using it.
James Samson I didn't count them as main characters, but I'm sure they could do it simply by watching Goku do it. Everyone that knows it in the series learned from watching someone do it once, except for Roshi and Grandpa Gohan, meaning it's a pretty basic form of Ki attack. Even Tien, who was from a rival school, did it with relative ease while it was still a school-exclusive move.
I mean considering literally ALMOST every dragon ball technique does the same exact thing aka blow shit up i don't see it being out of the realm of possibility.

Highly likely that since he regularly spars with Goten, that he'd eventually pick it up. Its actually very common for martial artists to swap tricks and techniques with their sparring partners.

It took Master Roshi 50 years to master the art of the Kamehameha wave, so the apprentices don’t have to struggle years to master the technique. That’s how badass Master Roshi is.

It's because when Trunks and Goten Fused together during the Buu Saga, they would have learnt each others moves and Technics in order to be fused, so all the moves, Energy and Battle style would have been imprinted into trunks and Goten.

When you fuse bodies with someone, you're minds also merge, so it stands to reason that they may retain some of each others knowledge. And like I said, most fighters adept in Ki Control don't usually struggle with the Kamehameha wave. The reason it was such a big deal in the past is because the concept of Ki Attacks was new to the protagonists.
Edit: In the Dragonball Super manga, Vegeta states that he knows he won't be able to achieve the same form as Goku right away after feeling it's power in the fusion.

Gohan did teach him. When Trunks is fighting Goten in the tournament, Goten uses it and calls it the Kamekameha. Turnks points out that it is called the Kamehameha. Gohan is the only one that he spent time with that uses the move. So Gohan likely showed him it while playing around.

Tien did say that the kamehameha is a very basic move at one point. It was in the tenkaichi tournament I believe. Iirc, he also said or implied that many other, more complicated wave moves can be derived from kamehameha, making kame like a base move or something. At least in the standards of the Z fighters and earth-grown saiyans like goten and trunks.
Everyone in Dragon Ball Z can do the Kamehameha. Vegeta doesn't do it because he doesn't want to use Goku's Earth moves. Vegeta and Frieza are pretty much the only main characters not seen using it.

James Samson I didn't count them as main characters, but I'm sure they could do it simply by watching Goku do it. Everyone that knows it in the series learned from watching someone do it once, except for Roshi and Grandpa Gohan, meaning it's a pretty basic form of Ki attack. Even Tien, who was from a rival school, did it with relative ease while it was still a school-exclusive move.
