Better not to now adays, so many people stuck on electronics crave outdoor sounds. Hence the popularity of Asmr. Fucking millennials.
I can't even begin to say how much I agree...so many otherwise great clips (not just surfing either, aviation has it's share too) are shot in the kneecaps with somebody's insistence of being "creative"...nothing takes the place of the sound of the surf when watching surfing...hell, even hearing the reactions of people is cool, as it's part of the experience.

I was at Laguna - They were like the Wedge but further out - its dangerous to get out of a bad situation by the rocks.
I am on the East coast and it is crazy to see everyone in wet suits. It is in the mid 90s here and the ocean is like bath water some days. You wouldn’t survive an hour in a wet suit out here right now.

At 2:10 there's 4 surfers (3 boogies) and 2 of them collide and both go over the falls. The other 2 successfully ride that wave. Too much traffic.
