Barry Manilow is a genius with beautiful romantic songs. Was at a concert at Pittsburg with the small lights with my girl-friend about 12 years ago. So sad, now we have have Corona Virus to contend with!

Mark Scholl is clearly a POWER HOUSE Drummer! I am quite sure that he was playing up to the main Chorus as arranged by Barry and then he kicks it in, in full swing on the chorus in the typical Barry Manilow Power Ballad Drum style fashion! Big back beats on the 2 & 4 and great rolls on the toms and this drummer in particular has great snare rolls too! Perfect timing on the downbeats and crashes and the power is without a doubt there! Keep in mind, they are outside - LIVE with certain acoustic properties going on! Always a challenge to get the right sound LIVE! ... I love the way Mark plays- perfect! And I've enjoyed him every time I have seen him playing with Barry!
Mark Scholl was the drummer. Personally I miss Steve Welch as Manilow's Music Director. I like Ron Walters Jr. now, and Russ McKinnon in his band. Ron Pedley as his keyboardist has been with Barry since 1984. I do this song a lot to a rendition very close to this arrangement in karaoke and at parties. I do shows sometimes. I get requests for this one quite a bit. Looks Like We Made It is an easy song to do. I change up the way I deliver it. It's actually a good song to use as an acting exercise. -What do you want?
