I don't collect that many cloines but I'm excited for this one. I just really hope we get the rest of the Batch sooner than later. Hunter released a year ago and the show has ended. The writing's on the wall, and it's says "Release that shit" in aurebesh!!! Let's get it, Hasbro!

Overall the figure looks great, but one thing that niggles me is the animated style belt and the cod piece, I'll be modifying mine when it arrives.
I'm 100% with you on the bad batch, it's ridiculous how we've only got Hunter, I've just built a custom cx-2 clone operative using 3D printed parts from Coruscant customs on Etsy (video on my channel coming soon) and I was going to build crosshair in the same way, but the parts are a little too out of scale compared to TVC hunter...so I've ordered another hunter whose armour is mostly the same as crosshairs and I'll change out the differing parts with 3D resin parts from the kit I bought. Watch this space😉

I'm pretty sure the crotch is supposed to have been glued in place. If you examine the P2 Clone 4 Pack figures and peel away at that tooling, it seems like they were properly glued together. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but seems like an easy fix. Whoa that's cool man, I have been seeing some neat customs of the operatives. Also #FinishThe99 cmon Hasbro!
@@ToysAreTheWay yeah, the cod piece on the andor and 4 packs is part of the belt as well, but as you say, they're all glued in place properly. I've got a spare belt from a custom build that's realistic looking, I'll be using that.

Yeah I just got my Rex from Game Stop 2 days ago and Leia and R2 and I got my Vader's today ( Saturday ) and they are awesome!! I'll get the stormtroopers in a few days along with Luke and the night troopers this month as well can't wait I really like Game Stop I also just got today the shadow trooper and Luke ( Dagobah Landing ) great video brother keep up the great work

Finally! Captain Rex has been welcomed into our clientele twice already but we needed this guy. 208 is fine for hanging with Hunter & 182 looks great when teamed with Fox/Gree/Cody. I prefer the swappable plastic helmets that you can just put over the figure’s head than having to swap out the entire head like here. This way sucks
That's totally fair, I get it's a practical feature. But it's just not practical as a whole since they are BEYOND inconsistent with the execution and scaling of those. I personally hate when the helmet is horribly oversized, and this way eliminates that. ✌️😎😎✌️
Average at best, but still better than the older ones. Why did they remove the amo pouches from his belt?! All the new Phase I/II Clones on the new sculpt have amo pouches on the belt, and on the much anticipated Rex figure they go and remove them. WTH….🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
It's an ODD move for sure, I would have really like to see the same belt used, or one sculpted to match that. It really would have made him look better. I'll probably customize his belt for that option 👌😁
Ngl it looks hideous in my opinion. The disconnected crotch plate and inconsistent mix of live action and cartoon accessories ruin it for me. They could've based this figure off of his Ahsoka tv show appearance.

I mean, the only animated accessory is the belt. The pauldron, while it comes from the animated series, IS what Rex's pauldron looks like in live action.
I wouldn't say it's all that bad. The belt isn't my favorite and the crotch section should have and can be glued down if need be. Due to the way the Kama goes on, and interacts with the belt tooling they opted to go that route. I do agree that the closest to live action the better. But for the most part this Rex is a BIG improvement. ✌️😎😎✌️
Yep! I like the pauldron, and I know the helmet is also not perfect. They should have modeled it off of the current Phase 2 troops we just got, as there's details that differ on the back between the two. Not a deal breaker for me though 🤘😁✌️
That pauldron and crotch piece look bad. I didn’t even know the name on the card was wrong. This seems like the norm for Hasbro though.
I think the cauldron looks ok tbh, but the crotch piece is def not ideal, but due to the belt tooling and getting the Kama on I see why it was done. Still doesn't take a lot of points off for me, as you can just glue it down. Yeah the name is weird, they easily could have put it on a Clone Wars Siege of Mangalore card and it would have made sense. We need Clone Force 99 on BB cards, not another Rex. ✨🤘😎🤘✨
And also his one hand if your looking at the front of the figure the left hand his thumb is just like the Sith trooper it's way to short like a nub that doesn't hold weapons very well I'm really tired of hasbro doing crap like this
Yeah they are inconsistent at times with these hands, hinges and trigger fingers.
