That headsculpt is amazing! It's so much better to have swappable heads/helmets than removable. The look is so much cleaner, no chin sticking out from an oversized and mis-shaped bucket I agree about the card image, it looks great. Pretty sure I ordered one Rex just because, I might have to get a few more..

The belt's off because they slapped an animated TCW style belt on him instead of giving him the movie-style belt. Luckily with the whole belt/codpiece not being glued, it'll make swapping those parts for a spare Andor clone belt really easy.
This is definitely the best Captain Rex we’ve gotten in TVC thus far. He isn’t perfect but he’s serviceable. Just some minor nitpicks he has no weathering to his armor, the floating crotch plate attached to his belt (weird you decided to do that Hasbro), the belt itself is more animated styled instead of movie styled, the range finder is bit on the short side and no blue trim around the edges of the kama. But overall he is a solid figure. Love that Hasbro is taking to using the swappable head/ helmets more, I prefer accuracy over convenience of the removable helmets. I couldn’t stand the oversized helmets any longer, it ruined the aesthetic of the figure. I believe this Rex helmet is a new mold because he doesn’t share the same vizor as the phase II clones, he is the only clone who utilized his old phase I vizor. That detail is sculpted into the helmet mold.
Very good! Another score! Looks like the separate crotch piece is part of the new kama assembly. Small sacrifice for the softgoods. All around, he looks better than expected. Cheers

This wave is scheduled to ship July from SAF in the UK, seems like a long wait when I see a lot of youtubers getting them in! (and sometimes though, everyone seems to get them at the same time!?) - shame about the crotch plate on this one though (I'd be tempted to super glue it down)
The distribution is all over the place. That one online store in New Zealand got this wave, but it sold out really fast. Looks like Entertainment Earth in the US got the Kanan/Ezra/Judge/Cal wave, which also isn't due until later. Cheers for watching.
Looks like I'll need to give the new Rex the long rifle from the old one. But what to do with the old Rex?! Maybe a custom attempt. That buck wouldn't be bad for that. Edit: Great video as always!
How the heck do they get hold of them so fast!? pitty it's far from what one could expect from it. Specilly with that loose part down at the private parts and the helmets. Why not just use the andor mold and scale the removable helmet down a bit. Now i have to fix mine when it arrives.
I was fairly excited for this one, but oh man that belt looks real bad. I didn't notice it was animated-style when the promo images were shown off but now it's hard not to see it. And the detached crotch looks terrible. I'm also not sold on the helmet. I think they might've gone too far and made it too small this time. Not sure if I'll get this one or wait yet again for a better Rex.
In my opinion, the helmet is spot on. It looks to be the same sculpt we got with the phase 2 Clone Trooper 4-pack. I'm no expert on the belts and the difference in animation. But yeah, the detached crotch is weird. Hopefully it's not widespread.

Yeah same here not a huge fan of the new DC-17 mold. I just take the ones I have from my 3.75 BS figures too, I even have some from an Ebay vendor who sells 3.75 SW accessories.
Looking forward to getting Rex for my 501st legion!

His DC-17s are super undersized (like all the ARCs). Hasbro should have gone with the Black Series 3.75 ones from 6 years ago.
