Me personally, I prefer the season 1 looks. I like the idea of them modifying their armor and looks to look less clone-trooper-y but I feel like it didn’t go far enough. I think they are still very identifiable just “oh look a clone trooper with a scarf”
These are great figures, despite that I’m pretty sure these didn’t sell all that well. To the point they ended up on clearance. A few weeks ago I actually found 2 wreckers and a single hunter for only $10.50 each. I didn’t pick them up because I don’t really collect black series anymore. (I also don’t really want 2 sets of the bad batch). Maybe that’s why the sold so poorly.
Yeah, Gregor was a saving grace, other than that it was trash. But the racing episode? Literally a waste of time through and through, no redeeming qualities.
@@Jcc2224 for me, the racing episode was there to not only be somewhat of a fun callback to TPM but for us viewers to grow more of a connection to Tech. I do agree that the episode was lacking in a lot of areas but I think it had a few redeeming qualities at least! Though I’m not that big of a fan of Dave Filoni SW (at least recent DF Star Wars) so maybe I’m just being hopeful.
@@Jcc2224 That's part of the reason why I think they should've called it Order 66: Aftermath, and focus on more of the other Clones during Order 66 and some of the bigger concepts that happened during that time because ironically I think the show does a better job at what happened with everyone and the galaxy during that time than the Bad Batch themselves. Because many of the episodes that didn't have the Bad Batch or barely had them were actually really good, (at least imo) like the Hera episodes, the Crosshair and Mayday episode, and the Senator Chuci with Rex episode.
I liked that episode because is delved into Tech’s superior intelligence and gave him some character development. The episodes I didn’t like was the treasure hunt episode (it was completely pointless)
Technically Rex has 3 releases too if you count the first one that was an event exclusive without the photo real, then it was re-released in the red box with photo real, and the Bad Batch Rex.
I’d say they’re different enough to count. Considering my your logic on how you count the releases with echo, the event exclusive Rex comes with more accessories and the non photo-realistic head. While the red box just has the dc-15s with the photo real head. And then the bad batch rec is missing the pouldron, a different helmet, and the poncho.
You can get the peg out of the omega head by putting it in hot water then using pliers to pull it out. The head will get soft while the peg is a harder plastic. Lots of people do this swap
I nabbed the entire season 2 team as an impulse buy largely because Wrecker was priced as a standard figure. I expected to regret it, but honestly, they're some of my favorite figures in my collection
I've always believed that their armors just began to break and wear off, I mean they dont have a Kamino to go back and repair or replace their armors, so Naturally some pieces finally are gonna break or get lost
That happens in a lot of regular militaries, too. If you give soldiers any leeway when customizing their armor a lot of grunts will just toss a bunch components and bring more ammo and food instead.
If I collected this, I would give Omega a Pistol... I understand not giving a kid a gun but I'm still a little iffy on the whole "A Bow is a Girl Weapon" thing... it legit looks like the most awkward thing to hold if youre a mercenary
It's not that mediocre, its just that the show ironically seems to do a better job at the Whats happening to everyone (clones, empire, citizens) during this time period then the Bad Batch themselves. Also I'm far more a TVC dude how do you think I feel, despite me wanting new Delta Squad more with that Hunter Body.
Meanwhile Season 1 TVC Hunter: 🧍🏽
Bad Batch is so mediocre TVC doesnt wanna touch that shit anymore 😂
I want a crosshair figure so bad 😢
TVC needs to get with it and get the whole S1 Batch going!!
@@20rileybobfr season 3 is right around the corner
@@dancingvalkyrie season 3 was surprisingly pretty good so maybe TVC will finally make them
(*in video comparing the two bad batch members releases..)
25:26 "alot of the other bad batch members have 2 releases.
you mean all of them do? XD
2:30 And I took that personally. But despite my favoritism towards Tech, I totally get why Star Wars Solid Snake is everyone’s favorite.
There are 4 Echos actually. There is a varriant Season 2 Bad Batch Echo with Season 1 knee joints.

21.25 go off😂 loved the vid bud, really good stuff, couldn’t stop laughing at the” picture photo” bit😂
I’m surprised you think the racing episode is worse than the droid arc in the clone wars. Then again that arc had Gregor in it, so that might be why.
Yeah, Gregor was a saving grace, other than that it was trash. But the racing episode? Literally a waste of time through and through, no redeeming qualities.

If you want the peg out from S1 Omega’s head, heat it and use a flathead screwdriver to pop it out. That peg will fit the S2 heads.
that cid take was so good lmao
As a TVC collector, this is too painful to watch! 😭
Ong we’ve literally gotten the cast for two seasons in tbs and only this year, finally got 1 of the members
We need a phase 3 clone trooper action figure

Naah I don't. They're fundamentally the same figure.

I dont understand why the Batch decided to ditch majority of their armor... like A. It looked kick ass but B. Less protection ???

@G-Mastah-Fash good point actually. Even I did it with certain gear during my time.
All arw cool figures in their own way, and you arw getting really close to 100k subs!
I like both for different reasons, but there are no wrong answers all of the designs are good especially season 2 hunter
Hopefully we get season 3 figures
If they customize their armour again we might 😂
But I think if their armour stays the same prolly we won't get new figures
So, when it's time to dust your display items, what do you do? Or do you just not?
I usually dust as I take them down to revisit them. Some toys are... uh... pretty dusty. lol
My Echo still has the old kneepads...
Wrecker is your lease favorite? 😢
Yeah he is. His character is a cookie-cutter "dim-witted brute with a heart of gold".
Season 2 wrecker looks like he has added facial hair
Ur the best figure related channel on yt❤

"Its crazy how much is new on these between S1 and S2 figures"...
TVC collectors with ONLY Hunter:
😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Every Bad Batch figure ever???? 👀
Tech's head doesn't even look like Temuera Morrison in my opinion

Honestly glad TVC is avoiding the Bad Batch now. Its so damn mediocre it deserves to stay in black series.

The bad batch main characters are so annoying it ruined the show and the ark in the last season of the clone wars.
