That salt you folks have to deal with in snow country totally changes the dynamic for mechanics! I have never even seen a vehicle fail in some of the ways they fail where the roads are salted, and I am thankful we don't have to deal with that salt and all the damage it does to your car. Maintaining a vehicle here is so much simpler and easier and far more successful in general. Our vehicles outlast those driven in salt, thank goodness.
Similar system on an 08. Start by observing the MIL when turning on the ignition. It should come on and stay on. Listen for the fuel pump prime when the key is turned on. Some are pretty quiet so you may have to someone listen at the open fuel filler. If the ignition is on turn it off for at least five seconds then back on and listen. Scan for codes in the PCM and BCM. Bypass the starter relay to rule out a starter problem. Be careful doing this and be sure it's in park. Check fuses, power relays, try shifting to neutral. Good luck

Good find. Sure low klicks.
That's a good tip about putting RTV. Thanks for sharing!
Too funny Phil, I have one at my shop with the same sort of symptoms. RF park light on all the time. Now no crank. New fuse box ordered.
Dealer had the one I needed in stock, imagine that. Sure have gone up in price!
