we are headed there in April this year, never been. we've been to Portsmouth about 6 times though. looking forward to trying out a new island adventure.
Nice video, man. Looks like not much has changed since I was out there last July. Will be heading out again next month for a guys overlanding/fishing trip. I think we might stay down around where you camped. We stayed in a cabin last time right next to the destroyed one you showed!
Good luck! We missed out on our usual spring trip this year (and most others so far) due to Covid... real bummer and there hasn't been much new content lately. But I am stocked to get out there and keep exploring.
We were planning on an Outer Banks trip week after next but after Dorian we decided to not risk it and just made other plans. It won't be as good as hitting OBX but glad to hear things are looking up. If all goes well we will spend a week in April at OBX and hoping to wet a line as well.

You may have touched on it in another video but it’ll be our firs time visiting the cape, as far as bathrooms for tent campers on the cape lookout go and possibly shower facilities do you have info you could share on that? Thanks for the vids 👍
There are some bathrooms with showers near where the ferry drops you off, and there are bathrooms without showers near the lighthouse. Thanks for following!

Thanks for the Cape Lookout videos! My family and I live about three hours inland and normally vacation in the Atlantic Beach area. We are planning our first camping trip on the Cape this fall. Can you recommend any other sources of information or videos of yours I've overlooked? I'm trying make sure we are as prepared as we can be for first timers!

It's one of my favorite places, and we keep going back. It was good to get out there this past fall and find it was still in pretty good shape.
