I just made these tonight! They are very very peanut buttery and taste like full sugar cookies but aren’t. Very very soft …I was worried they weren’t cooked thru but they are all golden brown. Glad I saw your video in which you do say they’re soft cookies. I prefer a crisp cookie but my boyfriend loves these soft cookies. Taste is great!
They do taste so good. I only wish they were fewer calories.
Wow! These sound very good. I wouldn’t mind baking these up. The only problem like all other cookies is stopping at one or two..Too much of a temptation. Usually I’ll buy or make and share with family because I’ll keep eating and going back for more. The next thing I know, it’s an empty pkg or tin, lol!😊

That's me too - too much of a temptation.
For me, I'd rather have one real cookie, because I've never found a recipe for lower calorie cookies that have met my preference (since I prefer crunchy/thin over soft/cakey). I remember years ago I tried making applesauce cookies (from America's text kitchen, so it was a well-written recipe) and my family liked them, but I was left really disappointed! I'd rather just keep a batch of cookies that I'd actually enjoy wrapped up in the freezer, and have one once and a while.

I devour pints at a time as well, my wife makes it last for 3 servings and can keep them for months and not finish them! I wish I had that control. Glad these are great but I’d probably eat something prepared over this. Thanks for the review.

They are good cookies, but not necessarily “light”.

I think these are comparable to those other dry cookie mixes like Betty Crocker, which per prepared cookie (28g) is 170 calories and 14g sugar, whereas Halo Top only has 3g added sugar. I guess they don't promote them as being low sugar because some people think low sugar means it will not taste good.
I really like the flavor, but 80 calories each is too much for me personally.
I LOVE peanut butter cookies, especially hot right out the oven. 🤤

You have to look at grams per serving. A 70 calorie Oreo is 11 grams. This 80 calorie Halo top cookie is about 24-25 grams prepared. You get to eat twice as much halo top for the same calories as an Oreo. 😊

These are significantly lower calorie compared to Nutter Butter/Chips Ahoy (270 and 260)
A Chips Ahoy cookie is only 53 calories. A Nutter Butter cookie is only 65 calories.
@@TamiDunn good point! Although since one Chips Ahoy cookie is 11 grams in weight, you would need double it to compare to Halo Top 22g serving. So Chips Ahoy 107 calories vs Halo Top 80
I was curious how these would be based on the brownie review yesterday. I would take two of them and make a sandwich cookie out of them. Great review.

The best thing about ice creams like Ben and Jerry’s is that you needn’t dirty a bowl… sometimes it makes two servings but I’m still eating right out of container…

When I think Halo Top I think of the ice cream and how it is marketed for people who want to consume the entire pint or let's be honest, have little to no self control 😁 So I'm curious how these mixes will sell because I don't think people who buy Halo Top ice cream would want to make 16 servings of cookies or brownies.

@@pacersconnor It's very soft which most people would like, but the purpose for me eating it was it used to be much firmer and you had to chisel away at it. It would take me 20-30 minutes to work my way through the entire carton. These days, it is so soft, I can eat the whole thing in 15 minutes.

I just bought the mix and I'm sorry it didn't smell like peanut butter nor did it taste like peanut butter cookies I'm sorry I had to toss them once I was done baking them the entire batch how do you mess up cookies 😮
