Psychiatry residency naman po Doc ang i feature nyo. konti pa lang po ang nakakaalam na may Psychiatrist pala sa pilipinas at kung ano ano ba talaga ang mga duties at responsibility nila.
Question po, after po ba gumraduate ng bachelor degree sa college, need po ba magtake ng NMAT and after that mag-enroll sa med school? And kailan po magiging specialization ang Anesthesiology, sa residency na po ba? Also kailan po dapat magtake ng board for Anesthesiology, at ilang years po kailangang mag-aral before maging Anesthesiologist? Sorry po ang daming questions, sobrang interesting po kasi ng field na to hehe💗
Pahabol po sana na question kay doctora, with regards to establishing a practice, saturated na po ba sa metro manila? Do you more or less have to practice in the provinces to thrive? Or diskarte narin po talaga. Thanks doc
Pwede rin po ba mag practice ng critical care sa icu ang anesthesiologist without fellowship sa critical care medicine? Pediatrics anesthesia, obstetrics anesthesia, Cardiac anesthesia? Thanks.

Ang nabalitaan ko po ay na-overdose daw sa anesthesia dahil lasing diumano ang anesthesiologist. Is it really possible na ma-overdose? And pwede po bang pumasok sa work or sa OR pag lasing ang anesthesiologist? I mean kung totoong lasing sya, naamoy sana sya ng ibang doktor at di na sya pinayagang gawin ang work nya.
Hello, first and foremost really sorry to hear about your neighbor's daughter. Doctors abide by the Hippocratic oath which says "do no harm". With that said in mind any doctor will do their best to steer their patients away from danger. And coming into work intoxicated will be a violation of the oath we swore by :) I understand where the confusion is coming from because not everybody understands Anesthesia, because it's not a very common topic. The medications Anesthesiologists give have corresponding dosages and are computed based on the weight of the patient. So overdose is unlikely. However, every patient is unique and they respond differently to medications and surgery. But maybe there is more to the story? Please do enlighten :)
