I splurged and am loving the Lancome La Base pro one! You don't have to use much at all and it feels great and light. I used to use the smashbox one but I feel it gets peely feeling. Also have the Pur correct primer and I love how it helps with my fountain (lasts all day) but when you apply it does make your skin more dry feeling to your fingers than moisturized. I haven't had any breakouts or anything with that one yet but not too happy with the sun warning! Definitely on the lookout for a different primer though!

Also make sure ur primer is the same as your foundation when it comes to being water or silcone based. Silcone foundation needs a silcone primer so that it stays on the skin and doesn't become a nightmare. Silcone based foundation and silicone based primer = yes! Water based foundation and water based primer = yes! Silicone products will have words like this in the ingredients list - cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, dimethicone and phenyl trimethicone Water based products will not have any of those ingredients 👆👆👆👆

Good idea!! At my best friend’s wedding last summer she had makeup artists do our makeup and I just wasn’t a fan. I guess it depends on the artist but wow you could save soooo much money doing it yourself!!
Kelly Strack has a few good wedding makeup tutorials. Not sure if there were any drugstore type products in them, but I don’t remember anything outrageously expensive.
I don't know if its made differently in australia, but i do not find that at all the infallible always separates, doesnt stick around my eyebrows or nose and sweats off so easy compared to double wear which will stay on and not even budge after hours of wear

I literally just came back from Target and I had to share with you guys that I bought the L’Oréal infallible foundation. I’m so impressed with the swatch I did at the store on my hand that it has not moved nor transfer on my white T-shirt. I really need to try it...I love the Estee Lauder double wear (don’t know if I spelled it right) but it’s too expensive. $50 + dollars... no no I hope this L’Oréal one does the job i need. Tati, have you ever tried out Shiseido Syncro Skin Lasting Liquid foundation? I’m totally in love with it! It’s very liquid, buildable and feels air-light on skin. It makes your pores and fine lines disappear, gives your skin that natural satin finish glow and is perfect for oily/combination skin types. When applied at first, it feels like an oil emulsion, but in few seconds it dries out and sinks into your skin beautifully giving you that “no-foundation-at-all” look. I use shade Natural 3 in winter and I mix it with shade Tan in summer.

I'm about to give up on makeup! I love your videos and your vibe and I have gotten much better at doing my makeup since finding you, but I have still not been able to find a foundation that works for me. I am on a budget, but I've tried pretty much all of the drugstore foundations you suggest and they all accentuate my lines and pores and they seem to increase breakouts and everything 😥 Do you have idea of why this is happening? The L’Oréal infallible fresh wear is awesome! You can build it so much and it never feels heavy or creases! Other favorites are the covergirl outlast 3 in 1 and the soap and glory kickass foundation. I have normal skin that can lean oily or dry depending on many factors. When dryer I just use a hydrating primer and spray a facial mist before setting spray. All three last hours and hours.
I've used the Sephora spray foundation and I've really liked it, if you've tried it, do you think it's a good dupe for the Dior Airflash? Or do you think the Dior is worth the investment?

L’Oréal really behaves weird above some primers and great above others so if you try it, be sure to try different primers. Also, the Makeup revolution foundation stick is FANTASTIC on dry skin. Missha bb cream is so pretty, but bc the shades are aimed for lighter skin tones bc its an Asian beauty brand, the shade range is really bad. Some of them look kind of grey so it might work for neutral skin tones, but if you find a shade that works for you HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I would love to see you try the new Bareminerals complexion rescue stick foundation. I have been using it for about a week and love it! I have honestly never felt anything like it! When you swipe it on it feels wet like water is coming out!! I would love to see you do a first impressions on it to see your reaction!
I tried it myself and love the finish, but it settled into my forehead creases like nothing I've ever worn before. I was so sad about it. :(
@@andreas.5910 I set mine with Kat Von D's translucent powder and it seemed to do fine. I think most dewy fondations have to be set in order not to crease.

Exactly! Every video she does that she doesn't like a product, it seems the comments are criticizing her for not using it correctly. People it's just makeup and not every product works for everyone.
I'm about to give up on makeup! I love your videos and your vibe and I have gotten much better at doing my makeup since finding you, but I have still not been able to find a foundation that works for me. I am on a budget, but I've tried pretty much all of the drugstore foundations you suggest and they all accentuate my lines and pores and they seem to increase breakouts and everything 😥 Do you have idea of why this is happening? I bought good brushes/blenders and good primers and the foundations just do not work. If you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it! The L’Oréal infallible fresh wear is awesome! You can build it so much and it never feels heavy or creases! Other favorites are the covergirl outlast 3 in 1 and the soap and glory kickass foundation. I have normal skin that can lean oily or dry depending on many factors. When dryer I just use a hydrating primer and spray a facial mist before setting spray. All three last hours and hours.
The Dior airflash foundation truly is the best of the best!
I've used the Sephora spray foundation and I've really liked it, if you've tried it, do you think it's a good dupe for the Dior Airflash? Or do you think the Dior is worth the investment?

I’m often worried to post negative reviews, but I refuse to lie. I have a micro tiny channel and stopped posting for the last few months because things have become so nasty, I worry for my mental health if I happen to say something unpopular. People claim they want honesty, but when you provide that, you can get burned down. I feel like I have to tread lightly and give disclaimers just to post with confidence. Wow..that's a lot..i still have yet to find my holy grail but my current fav is loreal 24hr and fenty (on e fence). i would love to try out more esp estee lauder and urban decay but i just dont have the drawer for it..cant wait to finish one so i can buy another.
Sed. K That’s a favourite of mine too. It is extremely good. I’ve dry skin. And mature. L’Oréal really behaves weird above some primers and great above others so if you try it, be sure to try different primers.
Also, the Makeup revolution foundation stick is FANTASTIC on dry skin. I was speechless!! I mean, it costs almost nothing and beats my high end brands.

Missha bb cream is so pretty, but bc the shades are aimed for lighter skin tones bc its an Asian beauty brand, the shade range is really bad. Some of them look kind of grey so it might work for neutral skin tones, but if you find a shade that works for you HIGHLY RECOMMEND

What is your opinion on the neutrogena hydro boost foundation? I recently bought it and I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s good for normal to dry skin.
