- Jerry and Linda have lived in The Villages, Florida for just over three years. During that time they have produced over 300 videos to help guide, educate and entertain anyone interested in a new life in the Sunshine State. In this episode they look back at their first few weeks here. Listen and watch as they compare what they knew then, with what they have learned. It has been a fun and happy time for the Newcomers and they are happy to share their wonderful experiences!

May I say that you both look younger and so much more at ease than 3 years ago. I think it's because you are happy living in such a beautiful environment as The Villages! This place is not perfect, but I think it's as close to perfection as you can get! I for one am thankful that spirit sent you here! Thanks for the three years of you two and Gizmo! One day we will meet in person!

Before I even started watching the video I was thinking how much younger and more relaxed the two of you looked.
One of the biggest secrets to success on yt is to have a positive attitude and smile. People deal with issues in their lives every day and when they go online they want to see a positive influence like you two have been. Keep up the great job!

It's funny seeing how pale your skin was back then, from living up north, and how tanned you both look now. If you need time off to feel better, don't push yourself to produce videos for us. We love the effort you put into making them funny, informative and entertaining. I usually watch your videos more than once, because it's like being with family. Rest up you two !!!!!!

The stress of moving is tiring and hard on the body. I’ve been catching up on the Vlogs and I believe in one, you mentioned the first few were meant for family. Three years later, you’ve mastered the Villages, have met people, and have a bit more color. In watching, what I notice most is the love you have for each other.

You look more relaxed than when you first moved down from Indiana! Your skin tone is much better too--you were too pale back home! The sun agrees with both of you and you really do look younger now! Love it!

My Monday and Thursday ritual is to watch your show before I get out of bed and yes, I was definitely concerned last Thursday when there was no show. Neither one of you has changed in the 3 years I have been watching your videos, but MY life has! Lost my husband in December to Covid. His dream of retiring to Florida will never happen. :( Only 60 years old. Enjoy Florida, my friends.

I had it in August, and again in mid January. 1st time was worse than 2nd time, but still not too bad. I only just started getting my sense of smell back last week!

It’s fun taking a trip down memory lane - even if it was only a few years ago. So sorry you both are straddled with Covid and hope you recover soon - grateful it seems to be a mild impact but still COVID and an incredibly dangerous virus. Get well soon - love your very creative vlogs.

I had Covid the first of January. The first four days was like a mild cold. Day five I crawled into bed and crawled out day nine. Took about three weeks to start feeling normal. My sleep is still off.
Is it an insult to say you look younger, more vibrant, smiles! I also have had the dream of owning a large piece of property. But this Florida life looks sooooo neat!

I moved in this past august into Dunedin as well! Our neighbors welcomed us much like you said in the video. We have continued our friendship with them. We have driveway meetings each Wednesday at 4pm in the winter and 5pm in the summer. My only regret is that we haven't run into you all!!. Keep up the great video's ! We have benefited from them greatly both before and now after our move🤩
