This is a channel I accidently found and as a pro editor she clearly knows her stuff as an editor far more than many of the major youtubers who a pro can tell just work as a content editor and not a professional freelancer or work for hire.. I unfortunately get choppy playback after copying it and then using that as the location of my project eventhough it's on the same harddrive on my laptop. Any solutions for this?
Love your videos, super helpful. Didn't know about the "Remove unused clips" feature. "Consolidate and Transcode" is a mess, especially if you are using .braw or RED footage which it will only copy media (won't transcode). Tried the media manager function many times and has rarely worked right, probably because of working with those codecs.

Must i do this everytime when i want to close my premiere pro (while my project is still on progress)?
Also when i did the project manager and i got a revision from my client (which i have to import the new video again), i re-opened the premiere pro and suddenly i saw the missing file warning on my newest footage. Should i do the project manager again for all of the sequence or is there any way to solve? Thanks a lot!

That never happens to me because i save all files in the same folder. Then backup on a 60TB nas. But i did learn a lot in this video. Larry

I have many monthly folders of twitch clips and highlights of streams sometimes 20 minutes. I pull from this footage for multiple projects as needed. So although saving this way has been helpful, I end up with copies of the same 20 min footage even though I'm using various segments of 10 seconds of it in each project. The transcode thing seems like a good idea for this. But overall since I reuse footage I'm duplicating space.
What does your channel name means? I am just curious... It means something great in my language... TH-cam just suggested me your videos, I was amazed when I noticed the channel name 🤔🤔...
