I don't about the U.K but in Australia many of the contestants have said the producers choose which song. They don't have a choice. Which i think is bad cause producers can play favourites from early on.
they should at least have given him a chance after he displayed his real talent and genre of music. is there any rules or something about not giving another chance of all contestant after being snub by judges on first performance?
budoy82 the voice exist in multiple country, but the first one, who create the concept, choose some rules, and the other country can't change that or loose the licence to do. That's why they can't do that.
sorry but is this show meant to be named the voice not the song choice ?! its not about the song its about voice maybe the song missed his style and his voice but(anyway he sangs it well enough) as a jugde of voice or a big producer like them should see trought that and think of another songs matching his style anyway they can kick him out later in battles its funny that JJ knows whats going on its sad that she is not prefering that kind of voice. Iam sure if he attended other competition like X factor he would be in finals for sure.

His voice was good in his first song too, it was just a little difficult to hear over the background instruments. Shame, one of the better voices I've heard on The Voice UK. His voice control is amazing here as it was in the first song. The coaches on the American Voice would have picked up on that and snatched him up. 0:34-0:50 is hard to do.

Bless her heart, from his first song choice she felt she wouldn't know what to do with his vocals and Danny would be better for him but no one turned so that was why to prove he had a good voice she asked him to sing something else which blew everyone's socks off. He went from average to outstanding in a hot minute! After he sang that she then went on the remind him how important the choice of song is for auditions.
Not talking about the screams.. The way his voice turns at the end of the words reminds me of him.. Especially the word paradise at 0:45, the way he prolongs the word is something that he does in his songs. if you want to see it check out the song alive by pearl jam.. And anyway thats my opinion.

they're assholes. sometimes they turn to boring or bad voices and then miss someone like him just because they didn't like the song.
I would agree but I think the Conor Scott thing was because most of them had very little or no space left on their teams but I may be wrong
