Karl Pilkington is an accidental philosopher. he has such a refreshing viewpoint on life that even him making toast and talking about food is though provoking.
“Out of all the bits of food that are out there I would not think about getting juice out of a carrot” 😂😂😂 only Karl could say that sentence and it be funny
this is the type of guy that people say he aint that clever - but goes on to invent something really good and simple using his common sense and makes millions
"i can understand if we ran out of everything else, alrite what's left...octopuss?..go on then i'll have a leg.." CONVERSATIONS WITH HIMSELF...soooo hillarious
@ArcanePath360 Actually the Drench advert voice-over isn't Karl, it's done by Ewen MacIntosh (weirdly, he played Keith Bishop in Ricky and Steve's "The Office").
@ahdeath2007 It still clings to the inside of the mouth while you chew it, it's the natural reflexes of the nerves in it's tentacles. And they don't always put the sauce on it, i've seen people eat it as it comes, and as it enters the mouth, the octopus wraps it's tentacles around the face to pull itself out.
lol at 1:13 when he tries to pick up the hot toast! He's like a chimp, or Bart in that episode of the Simpsons when he electrocutes himself on the cup cake
The choice when I was a kid was Robinsons Lemon or Robinsons Orange...I preferred lemon, infact the first word I ever spoke as a baby was 'lem!' apparently...
@rich7t7 They are called fridges. Most people in England have large ( not American style large ) Fridge freezers, and some people have the ice dispensers on the front too. This is probably a matter of personal taste or laziness as to why he still has such a small fridge.
@rich7t7 : I think it's only him and his g/f there. no need for a big fridge. These sizes are common enough in Europe. Probably more used to buying fresh food over here than in the U.S.
I actually agree with Karl about dogs. I would never eat one (I'm a pescetarian, for one) but we shouldn't force our own sensibilities on other cultures. Obviously, the way dogs are treated in countries like China is atrocious but it's not like their lack of animal rights laws only applies to them.
Noone can deny - he spoke unquestionable logic here. Why eat dangerous food when we have so many safer options? If only I was this mans child we would rule the world.
@rich7t7 Lol a cold box? Not many people have fridges built into cabinets but if their kitchen is small they might because it takes far less space. Though, ''nowadays' Karl could afford a bigger fridge.
0:49, you can still see bits of sausage in it
LOL
Guess Suzanne was still mad at him
Karl Pilkington is too pure for this world
PURE ORANGE JUICE HEAD
"He was only about 11... He thought he was it."
Sorbet n that
"If we're eating octopuses why are dogs getting away with it?" Had me in stitches
l fell over laughing!
It was fantastic then, it's fantastic now.
Big Pilkington fan here. I don't get the joke. Can someone please explain it to me?
@@koreanjesus1983 he's saying if eating something weird like an octopus is acceptable then why is eating dogs frowned upon?
@@irrelevanttwat Ahh, thanks. It makes sense now.
"The legs get round the neck, inside, and they choke you"... Don't.... talk.... shit Karl.... Play a record!
LOL So funny how he has completely misunderstood this "story".
@@odinsplaygroundssaw this lil fella…..eating a octopus with noodles…..weird in it?
Karl Pilkington is an accidental philosopher. he has such a refreshing viewpoint on life that even him making toast and talking about food is though provoking.
He's unbelievable. Everything that comes out of his mouth is pure comedy gold. He seems to be straddling the line between genius and utter idiocy!!!
listening to karl is so relaxing
“Out of all the bits of food that are out there I would not think about getting juice out of a carrot” 😂😂😂 only Karl could say that sentence and it be funny
He's not acting...and if he is, he deserves a lifetime achievement award from the Oscars.
Funniest man on the planet.
did anybody else expect ricky to start laughing? im so use to hearing that whenever karl opens his mouth :)
As long as it's their own dog! That's amazing.
He was genuinely concerned about the social implications of people eating their neighbours' dogs.
@@ianinkster2261 How about just stray dogs? Eating them would be less problematic?
It's crazy to me that it was 10 years ago... God damn life goes quick.
Wildfire 13 years ago now, 3 years since you put that comment😮🤭✌️

"When I was young we only had one choice; orange."
hahah, thats not a choice!
A choice to drink it or not?
Yeah it's still a choice, like mac man said the choice to drink it or not.
@mrburnett this is probably the best explaination of Karl Pilkington I've heard so far.
"out of all the foods in the world, I would pick a carrot to get juice out of it!", HE'S MY HERO! :p
"Who is Karl Pilkington and why have I wasted 5 mins of my life listening to hi idiotic ramblings." - Wendy, Sunday Times reader
Sick of ‘er
Gotta ‘av your critics

Well we'll watch wendys little show when that goes out
Seeing Karl grudgingly tucking into his toast is literally the most English thing I've ever seen.

Should do more clips around his home, love it 😁😁
My favorite mouth breather.
"I remember when Susan caught me putting sausages in the toaster..."
This is the very same toaster that almost burned the house down.
@ArcanePath360 Actually the Drench advert voice-over isn't Karl, it's done by Ewen MacIntosh (weirdly, he played Keith Bishop in Ricky and Steve's "The Office").
This dude is a modern life philosopher. He gives deep thoughts on everything
I was picturing Ricky laughing when he said "Go on, 'ave a leg"
I didn't try balsamic vinegar until I was 23, I haven't really bothered since.
"I didn;t have pasta untill I was 24". LMAO this man is Jokes.
i love this video. this is a great intro to karl for people who aren't familiar with him.

@71johnf
ye those fridges started to become popular in england recently too.
@rich7t7 They are called fridges. Most people in England have large ( not American style large ) Fridge freezers, and some people have the ice dispensers on the front too. This is probably a matter of personal taste or laziness as to why he still has such a small fridge.
It wasn't filmed, but he mentioned it on one of the XFM shows. He also mentions it in a one off Documentary, "Satisfied fool"
LMAO funny as fuck. "out of all the bits of food that are out there, i would not think about getting juice out of a carrot" LMAO
Karl Pilkington is my life guru
@rich7t7 : I think it's only him and his g/f there. no need for a big fridge. These sizes are common enough in Europe. Probably more used to buying fresh food over here than in the U.S.

I could listen to this guy talk forever :D
‘If we’re eating octopuses, why are dogs getting away with it?’ 🤣
One thing i noticed.. the fridge is the size of a dishwasher! Here in America it's 6 foot high!
I actually yelled out don't talk shite! when he was explaining the octopus.
@john71294 imo one of the great gems of this country. along with stephen fry and brian blessed etc.
That part was unbelievably funny!!!
My brain inserts Rickys laugh after most sentences!
Noone can deny - he spoke unquestionable logic here. Why eat dangerous food when we have so many safer options? If only I was this mans child we would rule the world.
where can i see this??
A beautiful mind
The title wasn't as literal as I was expecting.
"Go on then I'll have a leg" Hahaha
so how do you get the bread out prettyinpunk922 ,turn the toaster upside down?
he's a total genius since his objective is to make you laugh
toaster has nightmares about sausages to this day
@hfdpayner his clear toaster idea is amazing!
I would usually agree, I hate when people quote vids.. But when it's Karl I find it funny :P
I LOVE THIS MAN!
"As long as it's their own dog" lmfao
who films his podcasts?
His head is almost perfectly spherical
What is it with Karl and octopi?
I never would have expected Karl's apartment to be so stylish.

Cracks me up. I'm not even sure how he comes up with this...when I've had a crappy day, serious or not Carl makes me laugh.
Is this the kuchen with shoddy DIY? Where the cupboards are coming off

@mrburnett Spot on. Thats why we all can learn from him.
@Synthlinemusic i think he's just remembering stuff and if you dont hear something for a while its still very funny
