Put fluid in the lower bottle to submerge end of tube. It also helps to have the lower bottle above the caliper.

@3:00 it says "new DOT Fluid" but it's actually mineral fluid, :) for this type of brake and you even put mineral one from the bottle

I think he's referring to the dot or air bubbles between the old and new fluid.

I tried jiggling the brake but it only got a little bit of fluid in, do you have to unscrew the bottom valve also

How long does it take to change new hydraulic oil?

I did it yesterday for the first time and it took me a while because it was new, but I think next time I could do both brakes in maybe an hour. Yesterday took me about 2 hours but I was taking it slow.
