I love Paul and his guitars, but he does need someone like Greg - and there's no other - to ground him... but even Greg seemingly loses the will to live after 10 minutes of incessant Paul.
I see this is an old thread. This video is funny as hell. Greg is hilarious. People hating on Paul.....give me a break. The guy is a genius. I enjoy his videos and I don't think he comes off bad or arrogant at all. Listen to him tell the stories of how much rejection he took early on when guys would refuse his guitars but he stuck with it and now has a legendary company. I always found him in these interviews to have a good sense of humor and will poke fun at himself. I for one love his guitars. People are ridiculous with their negative take.
The highlight of my musical career was doing an open mike with Greg and Gary Grainger at the Harp and Fiddle. Wonderful musicians and wonderful people. I hope i get to play with them again before I pass on.
Quite literally jumped when Paul barked.... Laughed my ass off as well. Good energy, but then it's kinda hard not to have it when talking to a character like Greg.
I don’t know either Paul or Greg personally but after watching this video I would invite Greg over to my house for a beer and bbq any day of the week. Paul on the other hand maybe a Christmas drink at the office!
Paul likes to have fun while doing these videos. Greg is amazing guitar player and cracks me up with his descriptions and good natured comic relief licks and well as a serious guitar player but most know this as he's been around for sometime..

Whether you like his personality or not - prs is an important guy - so he is being an important guy in the interview - anyway, I don't know - but it just looks that way to me
I love all the negative opinions about Paul Reed Smith from those who have never met him personally. Envy is so unattractive. He happened to make something of himself. I guess that warrants negativity in the eyes of many.
paul is a salesman and greg is a legend. paul isn't keen on much besides the dollar sign, greg is in high demand, for good reason. also doesn't everyone know never to trust a terrier?
