  • At low rpm my Xtrainer is making a bang / clack noise. It is a very annoying sound. This is an experiment to see if adjusting the linkage arm corrects the problem. This is just the procedure on how to adjust. Will follow up after testing to see if it actually worked.

Right off the bat I thought it did. It did sound way better. Now however I started noticing it again but only when the bike is really hot. Have you done any testing to track down a potential cause?

Have you considered that it may be chain slap?
Xtrainers are known for it and it would be more noticeable at low rev/speed.
      Check your chain tension.

Also if you want to fine tune the power valve you can buy an adjustable power valve switch.

hello, i have a beta xtrainer, and from the rubber tube coming out of the exhaust valve, i always get a lot of oil coming out of the fuel mixture. Is this normal? is it possible to do something to stop the oil coming out? it leaves stains on the floor of the parking lot. Thank you very much.

Is it coming out of the gasket under the cover that I have taken apart, or at the exhaust it self?
