- My girlfriend is back at the hot tent. She's the love of my life and I never pass up an opportunity to have her at the hot tent. She's learning more about wood: sawing and cutting. She's also learning how to beat me at Scrabble. She's cute and fun and smart and she makes this adventure 1 of a kind.

I love the tent, but we bought a travel trailer so my wife would join me as the tent life was not for her. This summer we will get out into the outdoors and enjoy this beautiful country of ours. I love that she isnt just a passenger and actually takes genuine interest in trying new things around the cabin and what you're doing :) she's a keeper
Here’s a tip I learned for moving my 250 pound stove. Drill a hole in each of the rear legs, find a steel shaft that fits through the holes a d a set of wheels that fit the shaft. When you want to move the stove, disconnect the pipe, jack up the rear of the stove then slide the axle through, put on the wheels and you can roll it around yourself by lifting the front of the stove.

Jay, I am so in love with that oven!!! It's genius!!!! Lol.....btw, I think you should have a scraper for your glass in the stove. We use to use one all the time just to see the fire burning, but now we have a wood furnace and there's no better heat than wood!!! Thanks from your Newfie friend!!!!!😊

If you close the air gap at the bottom of the door with some fabric in the evening, it stays much longer warm in the tent. Brauchst only on the stove stones to put and above where you cook two stones inside, these stones heat several hours and keep the tent longer warm. Greetings from Frankfurt

Northern lights were incredible. Splitting wood, well, that's what you tell people is a horrible chore so you get to keep it all to yourself. LOL!
Both of those stoves are awesome. Especially the big one your friend made. The one he has in his cabin he built is a work of craftsmanship. That was a great video. We surely don't get these kind of winters down here in South Carolina. So I really enjoy your video's of your tent.

Hey Jay first thing is it’s sad seeing winter coming to a end but was fantastic to see Chrystal back out at the tent. I must say the oven on the stove is amazing the meal you two made looked delicious. I hope you might be able to squeeze one more trip in this season as long as the ice is thick enough. That chicken dinner plate was some first rate stuff. The gravy looked so good I'm salivating at 9 am. Nice to have weather that makes a trip out for Crystal comfortable and still cold enough to ride across the lake. Nice little stove too, thanks for the review.

That chicken dinner was a 10! Crystal told me today it was the best chicken she has ever eaten in her life.

Hey! Yes I have used a fan. I did in my early vids on this channel. I ended up taking to my home and use it on my wood stove there.

HI Jay, I love your videos! I'm wondering if you left the oven door open if it would help to keep the tent warmer through the night.
I do think that if I have the oven door open that it will lead to more heat throughout the tent. I will give it a good test next winter.
