Hot Buttered Rum

Made in a Pass Mug with an old fashioned mulling iron
1 cup rum
3 cups water
1/2 cup brown suger
2 tablespoons butter
Put red hot iron in mixture.
Let sit for several minutes to cool and let iron bits fall to bottom
DO NOT DRINK THE DREGS!!!
