My understanding of Paul when he said "of whom I am chief" was that he meant he was the first sinner saved under the gospel that was revealed to him. Paul certainly wasn't the worst sinner of his time, but he was the first member of the body of Christ.
Amen. One of the biggest blessings of “right division” is realizing what Christ did dispensing grace to Paul making him our Apostle, minister, teacher, pattern, manner of living, form of doctrine for the edification and building up of the new man, seated in heavenly places & given all spiritual blessings in Christ. It is impossible to follow Jesus after the flesh because his ministry was according to prophesy and his words and doctrine was directed at the lost sheep of Israel under the law. We gentiles were cut off, without hope or promise or a chance until grace came.
