Filthy casual here so my opinion may be invalid, but I think normal dapple’s kit goes with the weapon really well; the beakon plus the tacticooler means that you can get right back into action whenever you die (which you will, a lot)
@@youssefbencheikh8637 except they decided to give it reefslider, aka the worst special in the game aka splashdown 2. Instead of getting punished before the special ends. You get punished after.
Another thing that people forget to mention is that the dapples are the most ink efficient dualie pair, so they could use zipcaster for the longest amount of time
I know this is completely random but this game has really made me realize how much pros surround the meta and how much they influence the meta over the past few weeks I've seen more tetra dualie players and stamper mains in my games than ever before, with you and prochara out there influencing the meta.
as a dualie squelchers main, taking into account the fast ink drainage of the main weapon, I think the perfect sub would be beacon. as you’ve said, it’s more of a supportive midline with a lot of versatility, and the beacon could have more use on squelchers than with dapples (and their die-beacon-repeat strategy). id see the weapon getting a lot of use out of it even if it’s not a combative sub because it takes less ink long term. beacon and ink storm wouldn’t be too weak on it.
I'd say that the kit for the squelchers is already really good, and I say that as a hardcore main. It just encourages a more aggressive playstyle rather than a supportive one, and I think it works super well when paired with a few ink savers. But an alternative kit that actually focuses on support is definitely necessary because... that's just what's most logical for the weapon, I think.
@@sakura_pompadour no doubt about that. the dualie squelchers we have in 3 are the perfect balance between aggressive and supportive. but like in splat2, the subs have different goals between combat (bomb) and scouting (sensor). so with the bomb in splat3’s dualies kit I think it needs a non combative scouting counterpart that isn’t as trash as point sensor and angle shooter.
I've also thought this too. Beacon wavebreaker would probably be what I'd want on it but I'd be happy to take ink storm, crab tank, tristrike, or super chump
I actually think that the current kit is perfect, and although I do miss ink storm, I've grown to appreciate the greater strengths of Wave Breaker for the weapon. I also think beacon would be much better than point sensor or line marker, but I think it would be cool to go all in on a defensive kit... Give it ink vac or big bubbler, preferably ink vac, I think it would be fun to try something hyper defensive with the movement of dualies
As a splat duallies main, I personally think burst bomb really worked well for it like it did in 2, and I personally would go with killer wail for the special. You could burst bomb, dodge roll, pop wail to refill you ink tank, throw another burst bomb and dodge roll again. Also wail would work like missles in the sense that you could use it to recon for enemies, like you can do with missles.
Chase! I totally agree with the Glooga Dualies kit! I literally have told people about this as well! I feel like with Bubbler active, Gloogas are practically a turret! 😂😁
Strongly agree here too, Gloogas rely heavily on setting up with a shield, and having something to do that longer or more extreme than a wall would be awesome! As well you'd be able to reposition easier within it with rolls, allowing you to take wider angles of attack without having to use over half your tank on another wall. Plus an instant refill on deploying would be nice, like armour was.
As someone that's been picking up Splat Dualies a lot recently, and dabbled a bit with the Emperries in the last game, I'd be down for emperries making a return! Need more Inkjet weapons anyway lol
Given that no Splatoon 2 kit is identical to a kit on the same weapon in 3, I feel like Enperrys will get Burst Bomb Inkjet, or Curling Bomb with another special, maybe Trizooka if you keep the offensive style Enperrys are known for. My dream kits for the others line up pretty well with this video to be honest, especially that Glooga kit which is literally the stuff of dreams, unless we can have Crab on Gloogas of course, Fizzy Crab would be cool and spiritually a combo of Kensa and Deco (Crab being an evolved Baller).
@@ZariLutus I would too! Especially because dualies have naturally never been paired with anything like trizooka before. There was nothing quite like it in 2 and they weren't in 1 where inkzooka existed. Though it was still a tough call between whether I want the trizooka option as the enperry kit or the inkjet revival route
I play quite a lot of Splat Dualies in both 2 and 3, an i think my dream kit for it would be splat bomb inkjet. We never got to see splat bomb on splat dualies, but it just feels like it would be a really cool combo. And yeah, inkjet is just perfect on Splat Dualies. This could also be a nice way to call back to the S2 Ttek kit, since it wasn't brought back for this game.
As a dapple main myself the kit i would love to see on it is burst bomb with a 190p tristrike, burst bomb as you said would help with pocking, chip damaging, help with movility, helping for combos and would just be the absolute best sub for it, and im going for Tristrike as special because this would help dealing with long distance threats aswell and help your team in other ways than just killing opponents, this would make dapples a very interesting slayer/support since it has also a very good painting, and if tentatek got tristrike, ¿why dapples not? (and tristrike is my favourite special LOL) Zipcaster could be good but since i suck with it i don't really wanna see it in a dapple kit, but it will be a good special for it probably.
Burst/Zipcaster would be so good on Dapples omg - my very first idea for a dream Dapples kit. Also - LOL at your comment about them not being highly likely to get the Crab Tank since Splat Dualies already has that - didn't stop them from giving Dapple Nouveau the Reefslider lololol. *I laugh to keep from crying* But tbh I'd take Angle Shooter or Sprinkler or Ink Mine if it meant I could get Missiles or Wail or Booyah or Storm as a special. Just please...anything to better poke at a backline.
While these are all interesting, I think there is room for alternatives. Splat Dualies: Fizzy Bomb/Trizooka As the kind of "default Dualies" option, I can agree that Curling Bomb/Inkjet would be an effective kit. I think another interesting kit would be Fizzy bomb and Tri, as it would provide an effective middle ground between slayer and supportive play styles. But there are also plenty of other good sub and special options. Dualie Squelchers: Autobomb/Triple Inkstrike Your analysis of the Squelchers is right on the mark imo, and the kit you proposed would be effective. I think another reasonable alternative would be Autobomb/Inkstrike as an enemy displacement kit. and because splatoon 2 Squelchers are still in time out, and THEY KNOW WHY. Glooga Dualies: Burst Bomb/Tenta Missiles I'm not totally sold on that kit. While it would provide a decent amount of durability, Glooga's range and slow dodge rolls make it less valuable. Besides, if there is any dualie with a chance to get burst bomb, its Glooga. I personally like this too, as it opens up a kill combo with a deceptively long range. As for tenta missiles.....i mean lets be real, one dualie kit is gonna have them whether we like it or not, so lets give it to the weapon least capable of spamming them. Tetra Dualies: Point Sensor/Big Bubbler I mean, this should be fairly self-explanatory. Point Sensor to scout and with 4 rolls, the Tetras can weave in and out of Bubbler as needed. Less damage for a longer distraction is a fair trade imo. Dapple Dualies: Toxic Mist/Zipcaster "But Blech, why would you put the weakest support sub in the game on Dapple, it doesn't help its mobilit-" Because Dapples are sharking weapons, not hyper-mobile slayers. I understand why they're expected to be that way, but that misconception is literally the reason we have the Tetras. The standard kit has beacon so you can stay in their backline, and the Nouveau has Reefslider so you can shark just outside the front line. Now do these work in practice? Not really. Beacon is removed with ease and tacticooler REALLY isn't what it needed and Nouveau....well, it should have Curling Bomb/Big Bubbler and we're moving on. However that isn't really the point, because sharking weapons are hard to do well since the game plan is so obvious to the prepared. TDLR: If you wanna play hyper mobiles dualies, play Tetra. But why Toxic Mist? Dapples as a main weapon have oppressive matchups against most other slayers. They can outmaneuver rollers, splatanas, blasters, and the occasional bucket and have a faster kill time than brushes and most shooters. Their only weaknesses are weapons with greater range, a weakness they should retain, and more mobile weapons like other dualies. Toxic mist (provided its ever buffed to viability), forces your opponent to either path sub-optimally or suffer a massive debuff, mitigating this weakness while making it easier for allies to focus fire the moron who didn't scout his flank. Combining this with Zipcaster gives the Dapple player god tier disruption, as well as the ability to harass Anchor weapons without being completely oppressive. While I grant it seems like a troll pick, I think it would be a very powerful, albeit unusual, niche. But of course, these are all my opinions, and I would be happy to discuss this.
as a dapples lover, giving a theoretical third kit toxic mist would legitimately feel like a punch in the face tbh. the worst part is that it's not even out of the question, seeing as the nouveau had it in 2
@@Sparkjolteon I mean I get that, but what other good options are there? Most bombs aren’t particularly valuable for the weapon as it’s often incapable of following up due to short range (and there is no way in hell it’s getting burst bomb). Things like point sensor, angle shooter, ink mine and sprinkler would feel worse than anything it’s even gotten before. Worst of all, any build with fizzy/curling bombs is just gonna be outclassed by every Tetra kit. The fundamental problem with the dapples is that they are sharking weapons. Sharking is just significantly less effective at higher levels of play, as teams are smarter and more coordinated. Thus, any offensively minded sharking player is going to be extremely predictable. So instead of trying to be your team’s carry, leverage your strong matchups against other slayers, protect your flanks, and be the Anti-carry your team needs. And you still have zipcaster to make extremely aggressive plays when the time is right. TLDR: if you can’t have fun, be the fun police your team needs to win.
@@lordbleck9015 i’d much rather have literally any bomb yeah. curling/auto/fizzy would have issues granted, and torpedo would still defs outclass them, but suctions and ESPECIALLY splat bombs are plenty valuable on their own. toxic mist in comparison would be frankly useless. the kit already existed in splat2 and it was trash. dapples are never gonna be particularly viable unless they fundamentally change some stuff about the main weapon, but bombs (and a functional special) would be a much more *fun* kit than toxic mist could ever be
@@Sparkjolteon Even if I grant you that (which I'm only doing because I'm filthy casual scum who likely doesn't know better), you still run into the issue of competing for the same niche. This is part of the reason why kits rarely have repeated use of sub or special weapons within a class. If slosher had splat bomb/inkjet and slosher deco had suction bomb/inkjet, you could pick at random and use the exact same play style every time. That would get boring very quickly. The purpose of a kit is not only to supplement the weapon's innate abilities, but to clarify its identity. E-liter exists to one-shot opponents who don't respect its pressure while being deceptively hard to push. Nova exists to scout dangerous areas while providing decent paint and occasionally displacing backline threats. REEF-LUX exists to prove that god has, in fact, left the building. Dapple Dualies, by their nature, are ambush weapons. Throwing a bomb (save the burst bombs its never getting) just gives your opponent more time to react to your presence. It's just counterproductive. If you give it a bomb, you're taking away from its identity, not honing it. Note: In conversations like these I have to assume all the main, sub, and special weapons are perfectly balanced. Obviously they aren't, but we cannot make kits in regards to the current state of the meta because that can shift wildly.
@@lordbleck9015 i mean tell that to the devs giving the dapples the same special as the tetras lmao in a perfect world torpedo and literally any non-reef-slider special would've been the dream for me. but we didn't get that, so now i'm gonna hope for a different bomb (preferably splat, because you can practically main those things with how good they are) and a special that actually does something regarding toxic mist specifically, the issue is that it's just a fundamentally broken sub weapon. it barely does anything a bomb can't do by itself - either you're gonna use it to assist in a kill (which rolling a bomb/throwing it behind the enemy also works for), or you're trying to keep them from going into an area, which throwing a bomb... also does. i cannot picture any situation with the dapples in which i'd want to use mist - throwing it still reveals your position, but now you have no way to challenge or displace longer-range weapons and you just die instead. unless it gets huge buffs later in splat3's lifespan (which is impossible to predict, so i'm not going to), it's gonna stay one of the weaker subweapons... which could ALSO be okay, since weapon kits can be balanced around that. good main weapons can receive meh subs and vice-versa. unfortunately, dapples are not a good main weapon, much as I may enjoy them it's not like they're opposed to giving short-range weapons bombs to give them a fighting chance. sploosh with the splat bomb in splat 2 was sick, aerospray with fizzies in 3 is still *bad* but at least it's fun to play and gives it some more versatility, dapples themselves have already gotten A bomb - and two kits of the same weapon having different bombs isn't any sort of crime, just gesturing at the splattershots real quick honestly, I was kind of ehhh on the prospect of zipcaster Dapples too just because the zip is such a... polarized special, but the more I think about it the more I'd be okay with it. that's a situation where I think the novelty and synergy COULD both really pay off, even if it wouldn't have been my first pick. i just don't think trying to get creative by throwing on toxic mist would be worth it on any level, especially with a weapon that's had such bad luck w its kits. it'd just be sad
I've got bad news to say, considering absolutely 0 kits so far are identical to a kit from 2, always at least one part changed. But you could always get Curling plus something like Trizooka, which I feel is a fair compromise, or more likely Burst Bomb plus Inkjet as a spiritual revival (they HAVE to give Splat Dualies back Inkjet)
Autobomb on squelchers or gloogas would be pretty great imo. Cheap lethal that can spot peiple sharking and manipulate their movement, so you can more easily throw them off with dodge rolls. And yeah, stamper's kit on dapples is RIGHT THERE, Nintendo
For dualie kits, I have this vision of an ultra mobile kit of curling bomb and zipcaster. As for which dualie, I feel it would fit either the Splat Dualies or Tetra Dualies the best.
That's actually a cool ass idea for the Gloogas I feel like that kit would be really fun to play a midliner with. Big Bubbler is one of my favorite specials in the game because it feels so fair and really helps your team make big plays.
As a dapple dualie main I think the dapple dualies nouveau has a perfect kit bc I used the white dapples in splatoon 2 and it was a really good kit but the zipcaster is a little difficult to use, I personally prefer the reef slider Edit: I learned how to use the zipcaster and it is awesome
For the cds kit I agree for the angle shooter and the point sensor in addition to the ink storm, but I preferred the point sensor because I loved the vds of splatoon 2 with its point sensor
Fizzy and Big Bubbler is exactly what I think Glooga should have too. Since Splash Wall is off the market, I think big bubbler is the next closest option to allow gloogas to hold down an area. Fizzy helps it paint too. It was underrated in Splatoon 2
Litterally all the tetras need is to have a sub like splat bomb, burst bomb or torpedo to be great, even point sensor would be ok. Specials wise almost any special would work other than slider and maybe not cooler. Caster imo could be good because it could be used like a safety net if you want to go for something risky. Wail would be so annoying for the other person to deal with the zooka like you said covers the main weakness of the main weapon. So a kit that I would like to see and probably isn't too unlikely would be torpedo + wail. You can use the torpedo to scan for people like the auto bomb does or use it like a splat bomb, you can use the wail to basically guarantee a kill or to help out if you get rushed by 2 people at once. I think tetras have some of the most potential to be a fun and effective weapon.
I like all these kits, but can only give a qualified opinion on tetras. There are 2 criteria for me for a good Tetra kit. 1) a bomb to poke (splat bomb or burst would be my favorites but torpedo, fizzy, suction or even Curling would all be cool) 2) a mobile special. I think my dream would be inkjet just because its my favorite special, but I'll take any of Inkjet, Zooka, Wail, Big Bubbler, Zipcaster, Wavebreaker, Storm, Stamp or Booyah anytime. Any combination of the bombs + specials I listed would be cool, though the kit I'm really hoping for is Splat Bomb + Wail, as Wail is best when pushing in while the special is active and I think Tetras could benefit greatly from it. What do you think of these ideas?
wail would be SO op (and funny) now we know it gives u more dodge rolls (as seen on dousers). with tetras u could literally get 8 dodge rolls in a row and it would give u enough ink to do so as well. what do u think about light tetras? and sorry for replying to a year old comment lol
People don't want to admit how bad splat bombs go with Dualie Squelchers. The ink usage of splat bombs is terrible for it. Time and time again, it is just an instant no ink button that leads to its own splat. Plus, it has no combo potential Wave Breaker at all. The perfect kit would have been Point marker and wave breaker. The marker for combos and location. Wave breaker for location and chip damage. The weapons 4 shot splat leads it to making chip damage a lot, so having things that combo with that is great. Plus, people arguing that splat bomb is great because it allows the kit to switch between either aggressive or support just wrong. Look at the kit from splatoon 2 of point sensor and tenta missiles a kit that allows alot of support with tracking and splating missiles dodgers it was perfect. A kit that in of itself was support or aggressive, based on your own play style that you could change on the fly. Not the horrible, just give it an aggressive sub and support special that doesn't combo in any way or that just clashes the others' wants. The kit in splat 3 is not great. You all just don't want to admit it.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if dualies get inkjet back but to me what I want for dualies is zipcaster with curling bomb, I can see a lot of potential, plus it would be fun. But like I said before, I wouldn't mind if dualie get inkjet, especially since how's there is only 2 weapons that only have inkjet lol.
My dreams kit for the splat roller is fizzy bomb, I can use it like a curling bomb and enter an area sneakily, to wall off enemies to buy time, to build for special and to displace enemies. For the special I want ultra stamp, I can use it to hyper aggressively rush the enemy base and to keep enemies back, use the swing the swing to try and get kills and I can throw the stamp to get kills way out of the range of a normal roller.
Light Tetra's will definitely have Tristrike I think as a callback to bomb launcher. I hope they wouldn't do sprinkler again but they will. Your Idea for Glooga's is absolutely the best though, if that came true it would be impossible for me to not main it. I love Big Bubbler but don't really like the weapons that have it other than blaster. But, I miss the Hero Blaster's design so much that playing stock blaster with the Guy Fieri flames is still kinda painful
i can only hope the next pair of gloogas come with fizzy (it's one of my favorite subs), and while i was a bit on the fence about it potentially having bubbler, i noticed the special actually helped me out a lot when teamed up with a jr or blaster
Angry comment about the squelchers time! I main squelchers (but I’m like super new to Splatoon 3 I got in a month ago) and I don’t think it would have great synergy with the angle marker. I think if chip damage is what we want then burst bomb is far better. There’s been so many times that I’ve just wanted a little bit more damage on an enemy while using that weapon, and a burst bomb would suit that so well. Plus for playing a supportive midline chip damage for your friends is always super nice, also just use the kit with wave breaker if you want to mark enemies for your friendlies. Ink storm isn’t a bad choice I liked that in Splatoon 2 on them.
Burst bomb would take up too much ink to be really useful on the weapon, and I also think its DPS is too low to really work well with it. But yeah burst would be decent on anything really
@@Chase247 jump tech kinda helps with the bad ink efficiency, and at least with the way I play I roll FAR less than when I’m using the tetras or even the normal splat dualies.
From the perspective of a low-mid level player, who doesnt really use splaties or dapples, and only recently picked up tetras, here are my personal dream kits: Splaties: Curling Bomb and Inkjet Dapples: Burst Bomb and Killer Wail 5.1 Squelchies: Point Sensor and Ink Storm Gloogas: already have my dream kit lol, but a close second is Ink Mine and Crab Tank Tetras: Splat Bomb and Big Bubbler
"Dualie Squelchers: either angle shooter or point sensor". Me: 😠. "Now hold on, don't go and write an angry comment yet." Me: 🙂 haha jk! but couldn't agree more with the dapples dream kit!!!
In my opinion the perfect special on tetras would be killer wail 5.1, it has pretty much instant activation, it's good for forcing bakliners to move and for cheap damaging nearby enemies while rolling, it could be used in emergency situasions as an instant ink refill, and in teory activating wail right after 4 dodgerolls shoud make possible the 8 dodgeroll combo from the Splatoon 2 light tetra kit; regarding the best sub of course burst bomb and splatbomb are the strongest (and perhaps broken) options but everything except angle shooter, beakon and sprinkler (please not sprinkler again) at the end is fine
Im hoping for wail or zip as both are instant activation. I would take both too. Giving the most mobile weapon in the game more mobility would be way too much fun and you would get your 8 rolls.
I'm an A rank Dualie Squelchers player who style is a bit more of an aggressive mid liner. My dream kit is Splat Bombs I like how versatile they are in combo the main weapon. For a special with my play style in mind makes me consider Ink Strike or Inkzooka. I'd would need to see which one works best, Personally I lean towards these specials because the positioning of Dualie Squelchers would be good for those specials. In short my dream kit of Dualie Squelchers is Splat Bombs and Ink Strike/Inkzooka (I don't think it will happen since base Dualie Squelchers have Splat Bomb but I can dream) This is my opinion, but I'd like to hear from others as well!
I was using the dualie squelchers in Splatoon 2 and I have to say I will like the building already has in three because I feel like it's more of a switchblade of a weapon because I definitely agree it's the king of the mid-range but it's also the king of holding it thanks to wavebreaker and splat bomb because we're both of those specials that can almost stopped any scuffle between two teams at Mid personally if your kid was to be a thing I would think they would have to get a damage buff
one time i encountered someone with a splashtag that had gold stickers of the dapple, splat, and glooga dualies while they were using the tetra dualies
give tetra killer wail as its special bro, u get 8 rolls with it and it gives chip damage in fighting making tetra a very hard weapon to push and defend against when it has its ult, if tetra got wail it could have any sub weapon in the game and it would still be a top tear kit
I think Big Bubbler would work well with squelchers. Combined with the range, it can help them hold down an area. I’d rather see the squelchers get it over gloogas since it is so close to splashwall, there would be less of a difference in the glooga play style between the two, but I agree that it would work well for gloogas as well.
I also think that Killer Wail 5.1 on Tetras could also be pretty good. Since the general consensus on how to use KW5.1 is to attack along side it. I think having it out while also being zig-zagging maniac would be very hard to deal with
The weapon is too aggressive to be sitting around charging fizzies. Fizzy works much better on slower weapons with more range (such as glooga lol) fizzy wouldn't be bad, but I think curling suits its playstyle more
I like your idea for the squelchers kit, I find it tough thinking of a kit for then because they're kind of in a weird spot. I'd probably go nuts for toxic mist with ink strike
as a splat dualies main, i think that kit is PERFECT for splat dualies, curling bomb can be used as a quick escape from a fight, and inkjet is just *inkjet*
For me, trizooka on dapples, kraken on tetras, both specials would fix the main weapons issues with dapples low range, and tetras as a way to get in and out
3:12 Correction, they absolutely would give dapple dualies the same special as another dualie kit cause they've already done it (reefslider from tetras on nouveau). The real reason dapples would never have crab tank is cause they'd never give dapples a good special, lol
Nah, that's exactly the reason why they won't. It ALREADY has a duplicate special as another dualie, would they really do that for its final kit also? No way, the developers would have to be on something in order for that to happen. trust me I thought about this already lol
@@Chase247 honestly I feel like they were already on something giving it a duplicate special in the very first update, lol. Between that and giving snipewriter the exact same awful kit as dynamo roller, it kinda seems like unique kits is somewhat low priority for them.
Thanks Chase! I think curling bomb on tetras would actually be fair. It can still do 20 damage if it rolls on someone, and gives you a bit of swim options before rolling around. I like the glooga kit, I just wish the three shot was a taaaad better.. burst bomb for when you can't roll.? Might give it more fighting options
I guess I’ll add my kits why not: Splat Dualies ~ Curling Bomb, Trizooka Dapple Dualies ~ Burst Bomb, Crab Tank Dualie Squelchers ~ Point Sensor, Ink Storm Tetra Dualies ~ Fizzy Bomb, Inkjet and finally the Glooga Dualies with… INK MINE AND ZIPCASTER!!! I WILL SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE
Idk if this kit is good i just choose my favourite sub and special so torpedo and bootah bonb i think torpedo is a better locator than auto bombs and bootah bomb to plan routes or people to kill and to prevent people from flanking oh and i forgot to say this is for tetra dualies
I'd put fizzy on tetra for even more mobility and spamability. Big bubbler would be unoptimal, but funny as hecc. Enemy map control is merely a suggestion.
@Greninjazz true, but still I don't see that bring very helpful on tetra at least compared to burst bomb. Amd if you truly want to spam it (which is what fizzy is best at) it wouldn't work very well on tetra since it can't afford to just sit around charging fizzy
I absolutely love Splatoon I have 2 and 3 I read the manga if any of you have not read it I recommend it Splatoon is my favorite game and I actually am addicted my friends get annoyed by me because of how much I talk about it my personal favorite dislikes are the dapple diualies nouvea and love the kit for it but yeah I cant stop playing Splatoon
Time to dump all my thoughts here: I really miss the Enperry Splat Dualies. They really were the mascot of all Inkjet weapons. Also, I don’t think Point Sensor would be bad on Dualie Squelchers. In fact, I miss the old vanilla Dualie Squelchers’ kit, despite how good the current kit is. Even though Tenta Missles recently got hard nerfed, Wave Breaker already has a cooldown, so the dissapointment is equal, more or less. And while I also agree that Ink Storm would be good, possibly better than Wave Breaker, another good special it could have would be Bubbler (assuming no other Dualie gets it first). It better compliments Squelchers’ aggressive potential. Now, Dapple Dualies… I have a hot take for them. Hear me out on this one. Vanilla Dapple Dualies are not that bad, AND; I prefer them over NOUVEAU. Sure, they are worse by design, but at least they have a place in competitive play. If S3 Vanilla Glooga Dualies are/is discount Kensa 52. Gal, then Dapple Dualies Nouveau are discount Dark Tetra Dualies. Speaking of Tetra Dualies, if the next kit has another lethal bomb and NOT a low tier special, I’ll pick it up in a heartbeat. The truth is, I want to play all the dualies in this game, but until Glooga Dualies get hard buffed, and Tetra Dualies get their feces together, I don’t think now is a good time. Also, they better put Zipcaster on at least ONE of the Dualies. One more thing, I really wish they gave Glooga Dualies a Burst Bomb. It would help perfectly with it’s slow… everything.

Any duelie with zipcaster would be immensely fun to use due to the rapid plunge you can pull off when rolling mid-air
You got your wish :)
My dream kits for the others line up pretty well with this video to be honest, especially that Glooga kit which is literally the stuff of dreams, unless we can have Crab on Gloogas of course, Fizzy Crab would be cool and spiritually a combo of Kensa and Deco (Crab being an evolved Baller).
oh man, I would adore Trizooka on splat dualies
@@ZariLutus I would too! Especially because dualies have naturally never been paired with anything like trizooka before. There was nothing quite like it in 2 and they weren't in 1 where inkzooka existed. Though it was still a tough call between whether I want the trizooka option as the enperry kit or the inkjet revival route
Zip on any dualies is what i most want to see next. Imagine the constant zip and roll to the ground, falling like a cannonball
(and tristrike is my favourite special LOL)
Zipcaster could be good but since i suck with it i don't really wanna see it in a dapple kit, but it will be a good special for it probably.
7:09 is a breakdancing crab
Burst/Zipcaster would be so good on Dapples omg - my very first idea for a dream Dapples kit. Also - LOL at your comment about them not being highly likely to get the Crab Tank since Splat Dualies already has that - didn't stop them from giving Dapple Nouveau the Reefslider lololol. *I laugh to keep from crying*
But tbh I'd take Angle Shooter or Sprinkler or Ink Mine if it meant I could get Missiles or Wail or Booyah or Storm as a special. Just please...anything to better poke at a backline.
BRO that thumbnail scared me, thought you were losing your mind 😭😭
While these are all interesting, I think there is room for alternatives.
Splat Dualies: Fizzy Bomb/Trizooka
As the kind of "default Dualies" option, I can agree that Curling Bomb/Inkjet would be an effective kit. I think another interesting kit would be Fizzy bomb and Tri, as it would provide an effective middle ground between slayer and supportive play styles. But there are also plenty of other good sub and special options.
Dualie Squelchers: Autobomb/Triple Inkstrike
Your analysis of the Squelchers is right on the mark imo, and the kit you proposed would be effective. I think another reasonable alternative would be Autobomb/Inkstrike as an enemy displacement kit. and because splatoon 2 Squelchers are still in time out, and THEY KNOW WHY.
Glooga Dualies: Burst Bomb/Tenta Missiles
I'm not totally sold on that kit.
Tetra Dualies: Point Sensor/Big Bubbler
I mean, this should be fairly self-explanatory. Point Sensor to scout and with 4 rolls, the Tetras can weave in and out of Bubbler as needed. Less damage for a longer distraction is a fair trade imo.
Dapple Dualies: Toxic Mist/Zipcaster
"But Blech, why would you put the weakest support sub in the game on Dapple, it doesn't help its mobilit-" Because Dapples are sharking weapons, not hyper-mobile slayers.
@@lordbleck9015 i mean tell that to the devs giving the dapples the same special as the tetras lmao
in a perfect world torpedo and literally any non-reef-slider special would've been the dream for me. but we didn't get that, so now i'm gonna hope for a different bomb (preferably splat, because you can practically main those things with how good they are) and a special that actually does something
regarding toxic mist specifically, the issue is that it's just a fundamentally broken sub weapon. it barely does anything a bomb can't do by itself - either you're gonna use it to assist in a kill (which rolling a bomb/throwing it behind the enemy also works for), or you're trying to keep them from going into an area, which throwing a bomb... also does. i cannot picture any situation with the dapples in which i'd want to use mist - throwing it still reveals your position, but now you have no way to challenge or displace longer-range weapons and you just die instead. unless it gets huge buffs later in splat3's lifespan (which is impossible to predict, so i'm not going to), it's gonna stay one of the weaker subweapons... which could ALSO be okay, since weapon kits can be balanced around that. good main weapons can receive meh subs and vice-versa. unfortunately, dapples are not a good main weapon, much as I may enjoy them
it's not like they're opposed to giving short-range weapons bombs to give them a fighting chance. sploosh with the splat bomb in splat 2 was sick, aerospray with fizzies in 3 is still *bad* but at least it's fun to play and gives it some more versatility, dapples themselves have already gotten A bomb - and two kits of the same weapon having different bombs isn't any sort of crime, just gesturing at the splattershots real quick
honestly, I was kind of ehhh on the prospect of zipcaster Dapples too just because the zip is such a... polarized special, but the more I think about it the more I'd be okay with it. that's a situation where I think the novelty and synergy COULD both really pay off, even if it wouldn't have been my first pick. i just don't think trying to get creative by throwing on toxic mist would be worth it on any level, especially with a weapon that's had such bad luck w its kits. it'd just be sad
I’m glad im not the only one who wants zipcaster on dapples
Yeah, it sounds like a very interesting idea, I like it but I would also love to see a burst bomb ink storm kit for Dapples
Great video. 100% agree on the Splat dualie kit. Enperry dualies my beloved. I miss her :(
I've got bad news to say, considering absolutely 0 kits so far are identical to a kit from 2, always at least one part changed.
6:19 "You can straight up have a shield as you slay, it's sort of like another splash wall in a way." Why did that rhyme so good.
For dualie kits, I have this vision of an ultra mobile kit of curling bomb and zipcaster. As for which dualie, I feel it would fit either the Splat Dualies or Tetra Dualies the best.
Tetras don't really need zipcaster I think
@@theog2306you happy?
That's actually a cool ass idea for the Gloogas I feel like that kit would be really fun to play a midliner with. Big Bubbler is one of my favorite specials in the game because it feels so fair and really helps your team make big plays.
As a dapple dualie main I think the dapple dualies nouveau has a perfect kit bc I used the white dapples in splatoon 2 and it was a really good kit but the zipcaster is a little difficult to use, I personally prefer the reef slider
Edit: I learned how to use the zipcaster and it is awesome
For the cds kit I agree for the angle shooter and the point sensor in addition to the ink storm, but I preferred the point sensor because I loved the vds of splatoon 2 with its point sensor
Nobody deserves angle shooter
@@StarmenRock why?
@@dmfgaby it's terrible
@@StarmenRock terrible doesn't that mean it's good?
@@dmfgaby it's the worst sub in the game
1) a bomb to poke (splat bomb or burst would be my favorites but torpedo, fizzy, suction or even Curling would all be cool)
2) a mobile special.
@@glugging tetras are still my favorite weapon. What do i think of light tetra? I think they're ass but tbf i think both tetras are equally ass rn
they buffed ink jet and in the new chill season they're adding the enperry spat dualies, you got your wish
If only 🥲
let’s be honest, Nintendo probably gonna give the next Tetras angle shooter, point sensor, or sprinkler 😭
Line marker and splashdown only for light tetras that does 1 damage If you pull it off
You were right, it did get sprinkler.
Personally I think that they should just drop curling bomb for fizzy because it’s basically a better curling bomb.
My dream kit 4 squelcher is burst bomb bubble cuz it ties into support and aggression and also the sub would use 40% of ur ink tank as well
i can only hope the next pair of gloogas come with fizzy (it's one of my favorite subs), and while i was a bit on the fence about it potentially having bubbler, i noticed the special actually helped me out a lot when teamed up with a jr or blaster
Dapples getting a viable kit challenge: impossible.
I hate that this is a legit true statement
@@Chase247 I think with main saver you can easily make it work though, which most squelchers are running anyways
@@looneylex_ you'll need a LOT of it to make it work, way more than people typically run. 8% of your ink tank for one dodge roll is not friendly...
@@Chase247 jump tech kinda helps with the bad ink efficiency, and at least with the way I play I roll FAR less than when I’m using the tetras or even the normal splat dualies.
From the perspective of a low-mid level player, who doesnt really use splaties or dapples, and only recently picked up tetras, here are my personal dream kits:
Splaties: Curling Bomb and Inkjet
Dapples: Burst Bomb and Killer Wail 5.1
Squelchies: Point Sensor and Ink Storm
Gloogas: already have my dream kit lol, but a close second is Ink Mine and Crab Tank
Tetras: Splat Bomb and Big Bubbler
"Dualie Squelchers: either angle shooter or point sensor". Me: 😠. "Now hold on, don't go and write an angry comment yet." Me: 🙂 haha jk! but couldn't agree more with the dapples dream kit!!!
Don't worry I think everyone is feeling that way after seeing my squelchers kit LOL
Yessss pls!Since splat 3 came out I always imagined my dream dapple kit to be exactly like this !
Perfect kits!!!
Also tetra is fairly ink efficient. Also we need more good zip weapons.
That would be good too, but I'd personally like something a little mire aggressive
In short my dream kit of Dualie Squelchers is Splat Bombs and Ink Strike/Inkzooka
(I don't think it will happen since base Dualie Squelchers have Splat Bomb but I can dream)
This is my opinion, but I'd like to hear from others as well!
0:30 Again, can't stress enough how important it is you distract the E liter from the tower there
I was with you, then you stared talking about dualie squelchers
I need burst bomb inkjet on gloogas
That's what I was thinking too!! My ideal gloogas
Bro predicted the future with light tetra dualies 😭
one time i encountered someone with a splashtag that had gold stickers of the dapple, splat, and glooga dualies while they were using the tetra dualies
give tetra killer wail as its special bro, u get 8 rolls with it and it gives chip damage in fighting making tetra a very hard weapon to push and defend against when it has its ult, if tetra got wail it could have any sub weapon in the game and it would still be a top tear kit
That Dualie Squelchers kit is kinda questionable but everything else I agree with. I miss Enperries :(
I think Big Bubbler would work well with squelchers. Combined with the range, it can help them hold down an area. I’d rather see the squelchers get it over gloogas since it is so close to splashwall, there would be less of a difference in the glooga play style between the two, but I agree that it would work well for gloogas as well.
Personally I'd love a tetra kit with the super chump, being able to fire them in, then flying in with the Dodge rolls sounds like so much fun to me
I would’ve gave the Squelchers Torpedo but inkstorm is good i fell out of Squelchers because of how ink hungry it is and became bad at using them
My dream kit for dual squelchers would be burst bomb and tenta missiles to give it both a rush and mid line type of play style with it's range
I want Killerwail 5.1 so bad on Squelchies
Dapples kit is good but I would personally go with fizzy bomb instead of burst
My dream kit for the tetra dualies would be fizzy bomb and tacticooler to help it be more aggressive while still getting the qr affects
I absolutely love duelies but I would say the vanilla ones are probably my favourite. I know it may be basic but I just love them
I also think that Killer Wail 5.1 on Tetras could also be pretty good. Since the general consensus on how to use KW5.1 is to attack along side it. I think having it out while also being zig-zagging maniac would be very hard to deal with
That would be good yes!
@@Chase247 bruh dualies are so bad😒
@@Chase247 they just spam dodge roll and there’s barely any information on the internet to counter them
as a dapples main i also wanted trop /zip or burst/zip but given what they did to us i've lost all hope for dapples having a good kit at all
Splat Dualies: Curling Bomb instead of Fizzy Bomb? Any particular reason why? Curling seems almost completely inferior in most cases and on most maps.
I'd probably go nuts for toxic mist with ink strike
as a splat dualies main, i think that kit is PERFECT for splat dualies, curling bomb can be used as a quick escape from a fight, and inkjet
is just
*inkjet*
For me, trizooka on dapples, kraken on tetras, both specials would fix the main weapons issues with dapples low range, and tetras as a way to get in and out
It’s crazy the actual dream regular dualies was pretty much what Emperry dualies are now
My dream kit for Spat Dualies (and maybe Splatana Wiper) would be Burst Bomb and Killer Wail
Dualie squelches have grown on me. I can’t fight until last ditch effort activates but it’s still a fun pick.
2:50 prolly the dualie squelchers
Dapples: Burst Bomb
Zipcater/Big Bubble
That is my dream
burst bomb/zipcaster was my dream kit for dapples since splatoon 3 released, but hear me out...
...Burst bomb and Kraken.
Actually forgot how much ink curling uses... they need to fix that imo.
I guess I’ll add my kits why not:
Splat Dualies ~ Curling Bomb, Trizooka
Dapple Dualies ~ Burst Bomb, Crab Tank
Dualie Squelchers ~ Point Sensor, Ink Storm
Tetra Dualies ~ Fizzy Bomb, Inkjet
and finally the Glooga Dualies with… INK MINE AND ZIPCASTER!!!
I WILL SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE
My Dream kit for A future enperry splat dualies is burst bomb and tenta missiles
the reason IS self explanatory
3:49 point sensor for sure 😁👌
Idk if this kit is good i just choose my favourite sub and special so torpedo and bootah bonb i think torpedo is a better locator than auto bombs and bootah bomb to plan routes or people to kill and to prevent people from flanking oh and i forgot to say this is for tetra dualies
I'd put fizzy on tetra for even more mobility and spamability. Big bubbler would be unoptimal, but funny as hecc. Enemy map control is merely a suggestion.
I don't think fizzy would be great on tetra because you have to charge it. The weapon needs a fast sub weapon imo
@@Chase247 Who said you had to charge it?
No charge throw still creates a straight line to swim through.
@Greninjazz true, but still I don't see that bring very helpful on tetra at least compared to burst bomb. Amd if you truly want to spam it (which is what fizzy is best at) it wouldn't work very well on tetra since it can't afford to just sit around charging fizzy
7:55 pls give it trizooka I’ve said it way too many times
Personally for dapples, I would prefer wave breaker. Just so it can control and dominate a large area like a splat zone
replace fizy with splatbomb for the gloogas and im totally there lol
I absolutely love Splatoon I have 2 and 3 I read the manga if any of you have not read it I recommend it Splatoon is my favorite game and I actually am addicted my friends get annoyed by me because of how much I talk about it my personal favorite dislikes are the dapple diualies nouvea and love the kit for it but yeah I cant stop playing Splatoon
big bubbler on glooga doesnt seem bad at all. u can just sit inside it and hold a dodge roll just like how u throw a wall and do the same
Time to dump all my thoughts here:
I really miss the Enperry Splat Dualies.
Chase wanted Ink Mine and Reefslider on the Squelchers. I think I'll take that kit over the markaplier
Okay then point sensor
Emperro should be burst bomb and jet and I'd say curling and triple for another kit maybe kensa
3:16 "I don't see them doing this because splat dualies already have that"
_cough_ dapple nouveau _cough_ tetra _cough_
Nah, that's exactly the reason why they won't. It ALREADY has a duplicate special as another dualie, would they really do that for its final kit also? No way, the developers would have to be on something in order for that to happen. trust me I thought about this already lol
Honestly the only thing I disagree with is giving Squelchers line marker (or whatever the sub is called) because personally I'd give it point sensor, for the rest tho, great list
I'd like zipcaster or crab in the dapple dualies
I love the idea of trizooka on tetras.
coming back to this video when they give tetra burst bomb
as a squelcher main, i can confirm that i would hate that kit 😂
I knew before I even clicked on the video that the splat dualies were going to be the enperry kit lmao
Dualie squelcher kit: Torpedo, Zipcaster.
So your dream tetra kit is litterally just carbon roller deco's kit? Fair enough it is extremely overpowered
Yup
@@Chase247 as a carbon roller deco main that kit is the correct answer to any good slayer kit
If they ever make another sploosh kit (please), they NEED to give it splat bomb/fizzy and zipcaster
A personal hope of mine is splat/torp and Booyah bomb
1:58 could possibly be true if the devs decided to bring back the enperry splat dualies XD
i would give anything i gave for dapples witjh burst bombs and crab
