I have only been over to K.I. once & the day I went was the worst weather they had all year & it was terrible, not something I will ever forget

We have been over a few times, and one trip it was like that for us too. Luckily I had taken my seasickness tablets so I was ok. Now I always take them just to be sure :)

this ferry is the worst experience - it's old, shabby basic construction and has no modern stabilization so it bobs about even in mild sea conditions sending most of the passengers to the vomit bag and made my occupants sick for the whole day - also the road trip to Cape Jervis is bad winding road which the locals speed like crazy and intimidate road users with close tailgating before overtaking - never again

Sorry to hear that. I guess the new ferries will be better when they are brought on line next year

@@fishingsister - yes I suppose the Kangaroo ferry is okay for regular users and hardened travelers but for ordinary families it can spell hell as I needed to go to work the next Monday just to relax and recover when it should be the other way round
