Beautiful home & her dining room has inspired me to go very dramatic with mine. I just purchased my new wallpaper and am working with a seamstress for curtains based this dramatic dining room. LOVE, LOVE it all. On another note, when presenting you may want to work on how many times you say 'um'. I just discovered this channel and really am enjoying it. Thank you for sharing.
Pls flip your phone to landscape view!! Hold it horizontally, not vertically!! This will be fine for instagram, too. If you hold it vertically, it won't work for youtube (or for TV, where we have to blur the sides in order for it not to look totally wacky). Your content is wonderful but the vertical nature really makes it hard to watch.
@@ThePottedBoxwood Well, 160k followers on Instagram vs about 5k here...I didn't realize you were such an insta powerhouse!!!!! In that case, yeah, I get why you're doing it that way. Insta's annoying 1x1 format vs everyone else's 16x9 is ridiculous but you have a huge audience there, so that's understandable. I'll just have to follow you there so I can really enjoy these videos! I suppose -- thinking out loud -- you could spend 5 minutes at the end of every tour, and do a super-quick run through of each tour in landscape mode, and post a shorter version here on youtube that is easier for us to see. Having that 16x9 version would also help you if you ever wanted to use to branch out and use the video for tv, etc.

Gorgeous all the way around! My only critique would be living room placement of sofas. I would never put back of sofa against that beautiful fireplace! Rotate one of the sofas where the two chairs are. Two chairs at the fireplace. Flip the tv and cabinet with lamp. Nice frame tv which would look like art, and where tv currently hangs do a nice vertical mirror!

Really spectacular home, and Hinsdale is an awesome suburb of Chicago. However I saw no evidence of young children. Only sophisticated adult spaces. My home is decorated but has a baby kitchen seat and lots of winter/rain boots and hats with llamas and ladybugs in the mudroom ... So did they hide all the kiddy stuff?

Thank you! When I flip it horizontally it captures a much more narrow view. These videos are primarily for instagram, so TH-cam is the added bonus!

I don't think they are out, I do think it is a more casual look. Lined drapes are also more expensive so that could be another reason why! XO
