I loved this home so much! The perfect balance of properly preserving the history, but adding fresh new elements. Like when you pointed out the modern art with the traditional sconces, love that you brought that detail out! I also loved how they had the family room/playroom off of the kitchen, with windows over the sink looking into the room. So brilliant! You can still see the kids, but the kitchen can be sectioned off. Loved it! Thanks as always for sharing! ~Stephanie

Beautiful architecture and home decor However, it is just too big for me. I can only imagine the amount of house work it requires. It is beautiful indeed, simply not for me. My mother's house has 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 5 living rooms, hallways, patios, balconies, etc. One never finishes cleaning. So, thank you, but no thank you. Sorry

My father grew up on Mockingbird Lane. His home was built in the late 1920’s. They had a basement. There is an old coal chute and a sump pump there.
