This is the best logic intro video imo. How to plug-in the instrument you connect, how to record, How to pause, How to delete what you don’t want. Tempo and duplicate. That’s really all you need to master as a beginner on logic and if you already know how to play the keyboard , you won’t really need to worry about using the logic key board to correct mistakes. You can literally just delete the error , and record over the section you want to correct.
i have no real training when it comes to engineering so i have no clue what im doing half of the time other than putting things together that sound good to me. just watching this video was enough to help me put some things in order and with better timing lmao i cant play an instrument, but im learning how to play the piano with my macbook keyboard 😂its a start tho. thanks for the help!
im a multi Plat Producer.. i am a pro tools expert...i mess with Logic a wee bit..know im going to go in on it way more...your toot (tutorials) are dope no cut... simple direct!! blessings Nephew
Bro, im in my early 40’s and I’ve been dyslexic all my life. i struggle like a mofo to understand or grasp whats being said. This is the only video ive come across (thus far) thats been pretty straight forward and simple to follow (although it still looks complicated as F*) but a few more repeats and ill be set. Respect bro! 👊🏽😎🔥
I haven’t opened up Logic in a couple of years…just played around. Learning these basic steps has me back in it, ready to create. Excellent video…thanks 🔥🙏🏽
Big bro I have Logic Pro x 10.6.3 right why is my play head indicator line disappeared HOW DO I GET IT BACK AND WHY LOGIC PRO X SOUND LIBRARY IS MISSING SOUNDS AND INSTRUMENTS
good morning from South Africa , my name is Michael Malape and thank you for teaching us how to use Logic software and I am most definatly joining your channel
Really nice flow. Too many of the vids I’ve seen will be showing a simple step but then say well I’m adding this and that but you can ignore that. That’s tmi. You are just right.
Great videos. Yaahn, I have a Yamaha keyboard which has numerous styles. Each style has 6 midi instruments and it speeds up production very quickly. Cubase 8 has a MENU feature that DISSOLVES the single midi track into 6 midi instrument tracks. Does Logic Pro X have this feature? Plz adve asap. I’m trying to decide which DAW to buy. Thanks….
subscribed :-) one question regarding the part where you hit something to create a drum pattern, are you hitting the keys of your midi keyboard or is there a drum pad?
I like Logic a lot. Back in the day I used to dabble in music production. I tried Logic, and everything else actually but sort of settled on Cubase. I think that if I get back into it again I will do so with Logic. Mainly because of the effects, presets, and sounds making things easier but I really like the editing better in Cubase.
Hi Yaahn, one year later i 'ain't know if you'll still have to answer this issue i have…i can't hear my keyboard after following the config…Need help please. My interface is Behringer um2. Thx Davy's writing

Big time help. I appreciate you bro.
Thank you this was really helpful !! 🙏🏼
Great tutorial Yaahn, thanks.
@3:01 Is there a reason why I do not have the "drum kits" option in my drop down menu?
Bro same
The reason you don’t have drum kits is because you most likely don’t have additional content installed in logic

Do you offer private/ more in depth lessons? I purchased Logic Pro back in February and I'm so confused.
How are you doing so far? Have you came across any Logic Pro user that actually replies and is more helpful?
Nice 👍

Good video, but an "X" in "Logic Pro X" is a "ten", not an "eks".
bro if its like GarageBand then why does it cost so much
Way more: sounds, plugins, editing tools and compatibility with extensive hardware
I followed your instructions, and now my wife is pregnant.
