Glad it was helpful! I have learned lots from watching others as well, so I am hoping to provide the same. I'm still figuring things out and have more to come as time allows me.
Odile, thanks for checking out one of my videos and the positive feedback. I do have one video up on the channel now of a soaring eagle that might be helpful, th-cam.com/video/FB0I49tdlHw/w-d-xo.html Give that one a look and see if it gives you some ideas. Happy painting!
This was exactly what I was looking for. An eagle head to paint. Perfect! Thank you for explaining the WHY of each step. I subbed and will definitely be back many times. Thank you Brandon. You are very appreciated! Just a suggestion though....please turn the background music down a bit. It's difficult to hear you completely. Thank you.
Paula, thanks for the feedback and kind words, it's what keeps me going. I've certainly learned plenty from watching others so I am trying to do my part in doing the same.
thank you for the return comments. Actually the music ( even with mine turned down or off) somehow was quite loud.. I will continue to watch. I use to airbrush 35 years ago, went to pick it up again the last 6 months and just don't have it anymore,, So I will try some oil painting by hand
excellent painting except, I am almost deaf, so the background music over powers what you are saying and I can't hear what color mixing you are explaining. I know my deafness has nothing to do with you, just the background music to me is way too loud.
Thanks for reaching out. I have cut the music out of my recent videos and will continue to do so moving forward. Interestingly enough, the music is barely audible on the video editor when I produce them, with the audio level turned way down, but somehow seems louder for certain individuals watching, your not the only one. My color mixing is trial and error anyway, so your aren't missing much if it's the colors you are concerned about. Hopefully you are still able to gain something from the technique. Happy painting!
Love your explanations. It makes beginners like me understand why so when we try other things, it carries over. Thank you, this is wonderful.

Brandon, that is one beautiful eagle. Very majestic. We have a lot of eagles here, love watching them. Always well done!
Thanks Linda, always appreciate the feedback.
Truly beautiful! I'll have to try this.
Thanks Jeannine!
That's a great eagle painting. Could you add a tutorial with a bold eagle in flight? I also enjoyed the shots of that adorable cat
