I just purchased a new 2023 CLA 250 with the AMG styling package and many of the pricey options as mentioned in this review. I love this car! It has a true world class feel to it. My model is equipped with FWD . I would enjoy a test drive in a similarly equipped 4MATIC just for a comparison. I got the polar white exterior with spoiler and AMG black styling trim which provides a stunning contrast to the white. I love the "Comfort" setting and its low to the ground feel. It's not the fastest auto in the class but has plenty of zip and more than adequate power. Overall impressions: The Mercedes Benz SLA 250 with AMG styling and other comfort/lighting options is one hellofa car for the money!
i just got a 2019 A220 and it looks just like this CLA 250 in the video. this entry level sedans of MB are so luxurious in their built. from someone who came from hyudai sedan to Mercedes sedan at the same price point, it’s like comparing apple to orange. Mine is quick too with 188 hp it gets 0-60 in 6.2 sec.
I’m glad I came across your review of the CLA. I’m waiting on mine to be delivered at the end of March. None were available with all the safety features so it’s being built in Hungary.
Id say the CLA is the best value for money Merc right now. Thee is no real reason to get the AWD imo so that saves you some money, weight and stuff that can break. It flies for having "only" 220hp (Topspeed is 155mph!) since its light and aerodynamic. And man their interior options are fancy: Real walnut trim + macciato beige upholstery, Burmerster sound system? All that in a car that came out at 46k when I build one the way id want it.
I rotate them quite often. 2yrs ago was a 2019 Mustang GT (modified). Then I went to a 2020 Sonata SEL Plus last year. Recently I got a new day job with a massive commute so now I have a 2022 Corolla. Also, have a 2017 Santa Fe (3-row) for the family.
I had to make the same decision. Ultimately, I chose the CLA250 because of the sporty look and frameless windows. I can say that I absolutely love my decision

How long did it take for you to custom order your car and for it to be ready at the local dealership?
