It has been five years since this video has been posted up, and KIA really has come a long way and are really stepping up their game! KIA as a brand in whole is really competitive and has been going above and beyond with all of their vehicles now!
i rode in my friends kia today to lunch and was pleasantly surprised by its power and how well equipped it was. I never thought riding in a kia would be fun, he let me drive it back to work and i smiled the entire way. maybe the best small car of that model year. Those south koreans know what they are doing.
Damn. I love that car i have EX trim but 2.0 motor been driving it since 2013 it has 365000 km and no motor or automatic gear repair ever since...great car
I've got a 350z and a 2002 Kia Sportage for a beater, and that thing has been a fantastic vehicle! I thought I was taking a huge risk buying one, but it's been great. Hyundai/Kia used to be garbage, but the newer ones are very nice and reliable. I would certainly buy another one.
I've got this car but in pearl white. I Dynamatted all the doors, siliconed and foamed them also, had it undercoated and tinted. Now it's really quiet. I test drove a Town Car the other day, not as quiet. When I look at other cars I'm always shocked what you have to pay extra for that this car already has. Maybe I'll detail it this weekend.
Love my Optima, it gets mistaken for the Lexus IS and GS a lot, and occasionally Nissan Maxima and Altima. One guy thought the front was very lexus LS460.

@ponchochan I had the 07 kia optima, it looks the same as the 08 but somehow the 07 has better mpg!! (dont know why) my aunt has the 08 btw. I love the gas "bars" lol and the musik system. my dad brot it for me brand new, i drove 40k miles already, but i dont drive it much anymore since i got myself 2010 honda accord hehe

I will be the only one in my city who has one :P I like this car very much is the only car of this size i know who has 6 cylinders the luxury of a well equiped mercedes E and the price of an old mercedes e class :D I can buy this car for like 3/4000 euros in holland :D (2006 model)

the exterior styling on the Optima's of this year remind me of the Infiniti G Sedan...it's a pretty cool car...the V6 just needs more power.
our 2008 Kia optima is the same color but it has 17 inch rims and black leather.

i tested out an 08 optima a little while back. i liked it, but they feel so CHEAP. i didn't like it.
Never had good luck out of kia they always get to 100000 and the motor blows at least the ones around here do

Kia was always the best Korean car to me personally, never really cared to much for there Hyundai counterpart.
