Nah it’s spun steel, mild steel not stainless. Just hadn’t ever come out of the bag before. And don’t heat on direct fire like i did, only coals, way too hot, nearly blew my head off when i opened it (off camera) 😬
@@PerpetualTransient Mild steel explains it. I can imagine getting a face full of smke from burnt oil after opening the lid would be nasty moment. Thanks for clearing that up.
