Did you guys have to drop the transfer case to correct driveline angles for the lift? I’m curious to do this set up to my GX and am questioning the reliability
I couldn't find a gx I liked or that I liked the price , but I got an 07 Sequoia limited with the air ride on the rear . I'm about to replace the air springs with coils, lift it 2inchs and put 285/70/17s on . Can't wait
Those gx look dope af. See too many 4runners, it's refreshing to see a lifted gx. Wish they updated the infotainment for the 2020 gx460 like they are doing for the 2020 4runner. Probably would have considered it.
Love, love, LOVE my GX470. It's so damn good. I don't like the bro lean on this one though. Hopefully the front settles a little. But, it's someone else's ride and what makes them happy, that's all that matters.
Yes! I reused all of the existing wiring from the boards and some of the bolts and bolt holes left behind to wire and mount weatherproof white LEDs ~ Boom ~> excellent key-activated nighttime bling for $20. While I'm at it ~ cutting off the lip/top sill of the running board and leave it on the GX protects parts of your door and sill that aren't supposed to get direct dirt splash, etc. Lastly, removing that inner front fender means rocks can bounce inside and hit the now less protected aluminum fins around the corner. It also means you've provided an alternate path for air to flow around vs through the radiators... ~ reshape and/or relocate but don't just remove this protection.
I love my tundra but too wide for some trails, the GX 470 or 460 is a good size. I also thought about fj cruiser or 4runner but the GX's have that power in the V8. Nice build!
Try to grab one with the water pump and timing belt replaced along with the Shitty airbag suspension, I wish I would of. I just need to change my suspension and cv axles along with a leaky power steering hose, but damn I just want to move on to aesthetics already.
I'm not sure if removing the running boards is necessary for the 285/70 R17 tire size. On our Icon Stage 2 lifted GX we have 285/75 R17 Toyo MTs and as of now there are no clearance issues in the rear. The front however is a different story...
very nice...good choice on the gunmetal trd sema wheels....although I personally would have stayed with the other tires. I put 285 KO2s on my LX470 and wished I'd stayed with 275s....I just don't see the point of the extra width. I know bigger contact patch blah blah. Maybe you plan on rock crawling it, but for most of us "generalist" off roaders, it usually ends up being about how it looks. Great job though on a very nice rig!!
Stock tires are 265/65r17. I think I might initially try 265/70r17 like the 4Runner TRD Pro. For me the 285 is just a bit too big. But it does look nice. I'd like to keep my side step.
What's funny is that I really don't like the trd wheels on 4runners and Tacoma's. I think they look horrible, but they actually look damn good on the Lexus gx470.

How much did this particular job cost?
Nice a local shop, I just bought a 07 GX 470 bone stock.

Rear seems to look lower than the front on that GX470?

FYI you can take the running boards apart, remove the lights and mount them under the GX.

Tundra and 4runner are same width...

So what do you do with the side steps and other good parts you are removing ? Store them, sell them, chunk them ?

The Camera should move around less and focus on the work being done. Nice lift!
Dude with New York tags just past me on I 95 in Maryland with a clean, lifted 470
Some GX460 doesn’t come with bags. If I decide to get one and plan on doing a lift.. should I just get one without bags?
You didn’t how you removed the air suspension

What size tires did this GX come with in this video before upgrading them?
@88Rotors - what are the parts numbers for the front and back kings ?
Hi sir,I have 2004 lexuz gx470..I want like this the set up,how much the coast of that..im from Canada Vancouver
How much does this cost? Planning to get some suspension lift on mine
Do the rear conversion yourself..its easy and parts are only 150.00
Does anyone know which air to spring conversion kit is compatible with old man emu rear springs and shocks? Metal tech? Iron man? Any recommendations?
What are the wheel specs an tire size
How much was that set up???..its exactly what I need.
Any clue what the tint % is?
That thing is badass 👌
You leave out the whole process of doing the conversion.
What’s the cost?
How many inches is the lift?
What rims are those?
What is the size of the previous tires?

Liar! Why the email with proper email address should go to your spam folder? Come on, man! Be respectful to your new customers and cut the crap!
What if it pressed down while towing ? It can no longer lift up ?
I like those rims

you never really show anything. just the parts on it. not how anything was done. remake a new video showing how to remove the air system.
A Few Moments Later video.
Why does this guy talk like that?
