it’s very pleasant to watch because he keeps sharing his thought with us, the hesitations and pulling backs are sometimes hilarious

well, it's not just length. another reason i normally don't go to the end is because games get so complicated towards the end... it's all i can do to play somewhat intelligently during the beginning and middle. at the end, when there's so much to think about, my head might explode!

Richard, you can only forge a Weapon for the Dwarf that is using the Action space. You cannot forge a Weapon for another Dwarf.

At 21:50 you mention Jen could place 2 animals in each "space" but it's a large pasture. You placed a stable and said it could now hold all 4 sheep. A large pasture holds 4 and can hold 8 with a stable.
A few quick questions:
You can put the dogs anywhere, really?
when can you place veggies/grain in empty field? when you sow? So, it goes from 0 to 1+2 after one action?
Lastly, when you get a stable, can you put it anywhere and then move it onto a fenced in area once that area is placed?

yup, dogs don't take up space, unless you put them in a sheep pasture, at which point they use their herding ability. Otherwise you can keep them anywhere for points.
yup, thats how sowing works :)
once you place a stable, it cannot be moved again for the rest of the game...

This is one of the most hilarious walkthroughs I've ever seen. Seeing you want to do just about everything and not being able to, I can hear those wheels turning and clanking in your brain! You make me like this game, even though I hate Agricola! And that's what I love about your playthroughs!
This game looks like a chronic, possibly terminal, case of AP (of which there is no ice bucket challenge for...yet) which means it's a must buy for me. I'm glad copies are starting to show back up again.

Thank you for the great review of this nice game :) I spotted one (intentional? ;) error: At 37:09 you should have paid 5 food instead of 4, because you just got a baby dwarf.
The text on the expedition loot card about leveling up isn't that just a reminder about the leveling up after the adventure and not a levelling up during the expedition and shouldn't that then only be benefitted to the actual participant of the expedition? This happens around 15:30.

that bothered me to. but than I searched the appendix of the rules and found the answer on the first page, next to the weapon level 1 icon. a loot item of level one is to increase the weapon strenght of all your armed dwarfs by 1, additionally the dwarf undertaking the expedition levels up at the end of the expedition. So I think Rahdo played correctly and the correction was unnecesary

It's just a shame that there aren't enough choices in this game. :p I agree with the other person because I can hear the gears rattling and clanking in your head during the entire video.

If she is starting player why not just wait till the next turn for the extra ruby? Also I'm pretty sure when she picked up sheep she should have gotten 5 instead of 4.

Okay so this is my second post ever so this might not come out right. At 29:00 is were Jen takes the rubies when she should have waited one more turn for the 3rd one. Then around 21:00 is where she should have received five sheep. Just as an fyi I have played Agricola hundreds of time but I've never played caverns so I could be wrong.

The baby could've been armed from blacksmithing from another dwarf? I thought only the dwarf who took the blacksmithing action got to get a weapon?

I would be concerned about this dragging out really long due to analysis paralysis. Almost too many options, even in the simple game. I really like the look of the game, just afraid it will take FOREVER with certain gaming groups.
