The Shinto rasp is truly the bargain of the day. The fretsaw used a thinner blade than your coping saw. Very much enjoyed the video, more please.
Thanks Tony yea I'm pleased with that Rasp! I noticed the Fret Saw takes a shorter blade than my coping saw so I'll have to find a blade for it. Didn't realise they were different saws.
I bought several CK tools from a local hardware shop back in the day. Always good value for money and more than decent quality.
This was the first time I've seen a CK tool and they seem very good quality. I'll try to buy more at the next car boot 🤞🏻

Enjoyed this far more than I should have! Car boot sales are not really my thing, but there's a guy with a second hand tool shop a couple of miles from me; it's like Aladdin's cave!

Thanks 👍🏻 I go to the boot sales with my dad. He also likes buying tools. The clamps have a nice strong spring on them and the square is square. Thanks for the suggestions if I do another video like this I will go into a bit more detail on each item.

Yea I thought it must be good as it's made of molybdenum and I've never heard of it before. Now I have done a bit of research I think I will keep my eye out for more of these.

I have a few CK tools from my apprenticeship days and that was a good few years ago, they are still like new, great quality tools. The Shinto rasp is a definite bargain. Nice haul Phill.

If you are ever heading to Pembrokeshire, on a Sunday there is a massive boot sale at Carew near Tenby. It has loads of secondhand tool stalls, I just broke my 30 year old border fork and picked up a nice secondhand one for a £1. I’ve had loads of goodies over the years from there.

Hi Phill, Got some good items there from your local car boot sale, you can't go wrong with a copping saw always handy. I love the the car boot sale my self, I would say that 75% of my tools are car boot. You pick an item from a seller and they give me £3 you just got to have it. Two weeks a go I went to Chirk Car boot sale ( between Wrexham and Oswestry of the A5 ) I bought a Black and Decker drill 400 watt 240v for £3 that is a bargain took it home tested it and it worked well also bought 25 meters of 3 core 5 amp flex, new still wrapped in the drum for £6 two good items for less than a tenner.

I had to look up what a car boot sale is. Sounds similar to a flea market here in the US.

You got some good bargains there, the Depp throated saw tends to be referred to as a Fretsaw, the CK Screwdriver is good quality and are quite expensive new, but the stand out of course is the Shinto saw rasp, I've had one for a few years and they are a great tool to have in your armoury !
