- Scott Rechler, RXR Realty chairman and CEO, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the state of the commercial real estate market, why he's expecting a 'slow moving train wreck' for regional banks, the weight of real estate debt, and more.
Real estate investors losing money is music to my ears. They are a major reason why the real estate market is the way that it is now.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.
STEPHINE KOPP MEEKS is who i work with look her
Thanks for recommending i find her and left her message online
interest rates are not coming down anytime soon...
the fed flipped bullish in the last FOMC
This was the poor lad crying on 60 minutes last month. I find his lack of straight answers disturbing.
This guy sounds like he's trying to sell his investment offering, saying that there going to be pre 2024 levels of office occupancy.
Yep buy our Trash.
Bingo.
CRE debt looking very ugly.
Finally can’t blame the labor market for economic failure.
Can someone tell me why no one has 3d printed sheds that can be placed on office buildings and used as self storage for the public? I mean office buildings are on convenient locations and secure, 3d printing is getting cheaper, and real estate owners are dying to fill vacancies or generate income.
And just like that a small bank is going under
Never buy REITs
Never the bank abd Insurance company are the holders of this paper with our money. This is the inside problem. They pass it onto Us and squeeze every penny out of us.😅
The price of a home has inflated 2 times the real value, the price of gasoline, food, electricity, natural gas, water has doubled in some states triple, the price of a car or truck has doubled, the price of car-Insurance, home-insurance has double This is the way the B-administration takes money from the Doctors, Engineers, School Principals, factory workers and gives it to the billionaire (BlackRock&GiPOwners), but you are too dumb to figure that out. The B-administration is using your credit card to finance 3 wars; every politician gets their piece of the pie, the money to make payments on the credit card, come out of your paycheck, (called taxes) because you cannot do anything to stop it that makes you a slave.
One solution is convert commercial RE into residential one. There's already a big shortage of new homes, so will solve both problems.
Problem is that this is fake news, the real data in new and vacancies is hidden in order to keep rent higher and price of homes overpriced. There are shadow homes and apartments in the millions that are not listed. This is a reason Warren Buffett Sold all his stocks in construction at the end of February.
That's more complicated and time consuming than you'd expect, or should be.
Very expensive and time consuming
Just lots of red tapes to go thru , but the actual work if you hire construction company in China they can convert all of them in a quarter.
Prívate equity to the rescue.
you think so? i’m no expert on PE but i feel like them coming to the rescue will essentially be kicking the can further down the proverbial road rather than fixing the issue itself. especially because PE and its levels of debt (at the fund level, the holding level and at the main business level) might be an even bigger issue later down the line. so what happens when they issue these loans/restructurings, and say the loans don’t pan out (of course they’ll try to refinance it via NAV deals), if these companies/CRE/RE corps aren’t able to pay their debt i think you’ll have a dangerous situation in which PE may do a capital or even a margin call and the banks that initially processed the original loans do the same, do we see a disastrous collapse? what do you think? sorry for the long question.
Overall, 51% of traders think this year would favor stocks, mutual funds, and other equity-based investments, despite Treasury yields and other safer cash-like investments paying big. I’m looking for opportunities in the market that could fetch me $1m ahead of retirement by 2025
I think you're better off with majority investment in bitcoin and uprising equities cos they always outperform. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on which to acquire
Even with the right technique some investors would still make more than others, as a Capitalist, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to an adviser for management which was how I was able to grow my portfolio tremendously.
I usually go with registered representatives. Thomas Kostas for example has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offers 1v1 consultation to his capitalists which I think is amazing.
HE IS ON TEL GRAM
