As promised on my stream, a low AP Kratuga guide. In Black Desert Online, the period between 220AP and 245AP is a dull period. You don't have many new grind spots which propel your income exponentially. I decided to grind at Kratuga with much less stats than reccomended. As a Succession Mystic, I have plenty of protections so I'm able to go to grind spots earlier. Guardians, Wizards and Succ Strikers are also similar classes which are known to do this. You can do it with any class honestly, you just have to be careful and willing to sacrifice dps for survival.
It takes practice but once you get it down, it's a fun grind. I hope this helps you guys push yourself in BDO and have some fun.

Pretty great vid, love the details you give about what gear u need and the rooms, but I'd recommend Giant's draught or Frenzy if you have high DP over beast's, especially if you're playing a class without backattacks, the extra 10% special attack is super important here and a pretty big difference in clearing out the packs.
Definitely Frenzy + Spirit Perfume Elixer! Perfect combo for grinding :D Giants is great too but I prefer the sustain.

i mean .. shultz guards are nice at 240 ap ... aakman.. many others. Its just u chugg pots but many other pots are enjoyable.

You should check out that video where a 140AP succ valk grinds Aakman faster than most 245 newbies.
Sure, it's class dependant, but most classes can succeed if played right.

@@laojk1055 The damage comes in once they knock you down. They can combo you on the floor and that's when they start chunking you.
Do you need to pop loot scrolls here to be effective? And even if not, should you when you can? Answer would be greatly appreciated :)

ive been looking for a good mystic succession skill rotation for stars end, hystria etc.. awakening is easier and cleaner, i dont undertand how to grind with an "optimal combo" for succ. can you make a video covering that?
Not really an optimal combo. Depending on the situation, I pick a different skill. The skill you open with depends on your addons and how you pull.
Basic rotation is just building up 3 martial shards and dumping with Wave orb / Tiger Striker / Sea Burial / Rage Hammer

Hey I just started playing the game but I hear a lot of shittalk about endgame being too grindy and hard to enhance gears , is it worth for me to play it and have fun on a casual level ? By casual i mean little fun pvp sessions and killing monsters . How much AP do i need to pvp decently and not get one hitted?

If you are running succ Lahn, take Frenzy over Beast. draught. Crascent barrage is her only sustain skill so that extra HP gain per hit Frenzy gives is really nice. That or chug HP pots like an alcoholic.

Yeah awakening is fine in kratuga. She is also strong in hystria

How's succession in mystic? Do you find it better than awakening? I understand it will always depend on the player, I just want to hear your thoughs about succession. Thanks.
I think succession is really strong because most of her primary skills are protected and she has nice damage. Thanks to all her FG’s and SA’s, I was able to handle higher lvl spots a lot better

The video is great, though I feel that 236ap is still not enough; you also need to explain to your audience that having the black star weapon also greatly contributes to your runs in Krutuga. Not to mention Mystic having DP modifiers that add to her tackiness when surviving more so in Krutuga. Any other class without a decent amount of DP will probably die in two hits or so. Even with the Crystals, it won't help if the build isn't built to withstand Hits that will take chunks out of your HP.
Just my thoughts on the topic.
My seasonal Maegu does just fine at 230ap at Kratuga. I guess it just depends on the class. I have no problem killing the mobs.
so is it possible with full PEN seasonal character ? if so then what class would be great for mediah content + Kratuga (+ awa vs succ) ??
im alt maniac and i have horse training Lahn in the area, will she be good or should i go for someone else ... also im playing litle bit of role-fitin-feelin playstile so in my mind i could use Sorc, Kuno/Ninja, Striker/Mystic, Lahn (and maybe zerker/valk but idk about them if they would fit).. the rest of teh classes are hard set in teh world arleady :-)
Depending on the class, it should be fine doing it on seasonal with full pen

The best source of information about any class would be class Discord look that up there's a lot of guides there

Is there gems that reduce knockback or cc from the mobs here and at aakman? I (and a lot of other newer players) have not fully understood what stats reduce the knockback and freeze mechanics I have found sherekhan necropolis a nightmare for this reason as well for my agris fever kills

@@imPansy putting 2 of those on the shoes slot adds +10 total resistance that seems a bit low... Or is that a powerful stat and 10% is significant?
Not an answer to your question, but your Agris if you're at this AP level would better serve you at Manshaums. Their trash loot is worth a large portion of their money/hr and getting 16k+ silver a kill there is nice.

Anyone got laytenn knowledge? Ive been grinding there for a while and killed laytenn many times but i still dint have his knowledge yet.
Mystic has quite alot if sustain though. If you dont have a class with good sustain u will likely die every now and then. But the money does make up for it, like you recommended dont go in there with expensive crystals if u don't have the dp for it.

It's very RNG based here. 100m/hr is on the low end with low ap. After 261 AP Kutum or higher, it's considerably more.
well I have a question about the requirements, Will I be able to grind here im a Lahn succ with 251/252/278 with TET nouver and 239/240/289 with TET Kutum
That DP is very low, it'd be risky. when they knock you down, even with 305 they chunk you.
As for AP, general rule: always use Kutum until you can hit 261 with Nouver. Then use Nouver until you can hit 261 with Kutum.
Succ lahn has a lot of SA in her kit. You'll be fine if you rotate it well. Bring along plenty of HP pots and either have your fairy ready to heal you as often as possible or in a convenient hotkey for you to press often.
That dp is waaay too low. If they catch you, you will die for sure. Just get some dp cuz ap is fine. If ya 301+ dp try again and use Khalk when it's night, cuz at night they are OP strong and keep V ready. And ofc don't forget frenzy draught.
It's OK akum gear to grind kratuga with 317 dp?

with new addons, i can even grind stars end with 239 ap tri kutum oasis main weapon XD, only got 3.5k trashloot/hour in main rotation

Apparently it's the Black Spirit's Claw Piece... I tried to get in using an actual Black Spirit Claw and it doesn't work. Saw another video that mentioned that it's the Piece.

@@imPansy Their damage alone should be fine though, yeah? I know Gravedigging after all their buffs is massive damage and monster ap with skill add-ons. Plus all the dp buffs and heals

It’s much less work to grind with succ mystic and you will have a lot more burst damage. I recommend trying out succ mystic.
Once u play succ u never touch awk again .-.
At trash spots like polly or gahaz awakened is better cuz torpedo provides better movement and you can shift+space for more shards. Succ is less work vs tougher mobs you have to pull together like hystria thanks to more burst.

lvl 5. Every time i tried out lvl 10 i felt like it was a scam and my RNG drop rate suffered. So I put a tinfoil hat on and leave it at 5

for softcap players this is actually a nice spot, kratuga scales weird with ap after 245 kuthum you won't really see a big increase in kill speed till you hit 261 kut or higher even then it seems to stay relativly simular. Maybe it has an ap cap since it's Mediah. So 235+ ap ppl give it a try but stay safe at low ap.

AP wouldn't be the issue, it'd be how well you survive. As long as you can stay safe and not done, you'll be perfectly fine here

Yeah for sure, Striker's stronger than mystic at endgame spots.

Striker succession is really good yes but awakening lacks in endgame even after the buffs but it's getting stronger
@@maurot7576 Yeah, in pretty much all end-game spots striker is good. Places where you're 1 shotting mobs and going pack to pack, pretty average. Awakening is considerably weaker in end game grinding. The recent buffs did help though

I tried it with my succ Lahn 245AP and 307DP but even with agris and two 100% loot buffs I was able to do 50m not even close to 100m (5k trash and some forbiden books). How the hell you can do 100m+???

Killing those mobs for like 1 hour and still havent found a single slate. Got 3 forbidden books instead.

at that gear with bartali's log and the lvl 60 1 AP boost you should be closer to 240.

Just do the main storyline you should end up around 200 ap then just buy boss gear armor and then gold acc and your 235
