When you hook these up to a car, can they be held and attached securely in areas besides the doors? Like if you had a van or mini-van, I would like to know if you can hook them up near the back where you don't normally have doors? And someone might wonder about this because it may be possible to have 2 bags on longer vehicles. But again that depends on if you are limited to only securing them around areas with doors. Thanks.
I have the same problem or rather I have the stripping but no place there to put these straps. Going to keep looking. Wondering if you ever came up with a solution?
great video...thanks. Can you keep this on the roof rack and drive with it without it being fully loaded. I am going to pick someone at the airport. I want to have it installed but it will be empty on my ride to airport. Do you think that would be an issues?
The instructions on mine say not to drive with it empty. I think the fear is that it will flap too much in the wind. Most of the "install" time happens after you load it anyway, as the only things holding it on are the straps you use to tie it down after the luggage is loaded. Take it in the car with you and throw it on the roof at the airport, load it, and tie it down.
I heard not to buy these because there has to be room between the roof and the box because of the air has to go between it. If you drive like the situation in the video you have to fill your tank very soon.. thats what i heard
Thank you so much for your video. This really help me and save my day. I bought one of this same brand and rented a mini van for 2 weeks but the stupid damn van didn't have any roof rack or crossbar. I panic for a very long time trying to solve this problem but your video save my day. Thanks very much. 😊
Amazon Ad says it should hold up to 6 suitcases. Looks like you could get 2 in and maybe two carry-on put on top of the larger two. Was there really enough room for 6 of those suitcases you placed during your demo?
Nope. Just make sure you use no more than 5,000 lbs, or 2,300 kg of gear, and make sure hard pointed edges are directed towards your roof so they don't dent anything 😏

You need to drive at less than 70Kmh for this to work and the load should be less than 40Kg or you risk 1- bending your roof and damaging it beyond repair because or the road vibrations 2- the cargo flying of the car with a sudden stop. 3- The rubber that prevents rain from getting into the car from the car doors can be damaged because they are not built to withstand these forces. All in all this is extremely dangerous and should be done only with extremely light loads and short distances if ever.
Wtf are you talking about? Where did you get that clip thing? My carrier did NOT come with one of those! Couldn't you at LEAST have said what it's CALLED, or even just point the camera straight at it for two seconds? Yeah, this technique is easy, alright, so easy that it's useless.
Another little tip: The opening should be to the rear of the vehicle, the sealed side goes at the front, so water isn't forced in with wind.
Nice video. A little tip: Have the zipper close to the back. Safe Travels
it literally says to do the opposite of this
this is good thing to have and cheaper than the roof rack system
Does it remain stable at high speed?
I mean on sudden apply of break don't it comes forward?
No, cause he had antisliper under the bag
@@cnd_ionactually, that would basically do nothing at higher speeds.
And, how does it do at 85pmh ?
Great video! Thank you!
The rain travels right down those nylon straps into the car cabin!
Good point!

thankyou so much for this! really helped!!
Love from india .. sir 4 hooks are sufficient??
How does it clip in or does it go through the car???
Hey buddy, how big is the cargo bag you're using? Is it the 15 or 21 cubic feet?
Looks like 21 cubic ft cause I got one
Does it stay in place? I wouldn’t want it gliding over my windshield if I have to break quickly.
As long as you secure it correctly and not under load it. Mine held up
Fine on the freeway. 👍🏽

One year later I'm in exactly the same situation, hope the storage bag worked well for you!
So I did this but it made my weather seals on my doors not work, when it rains it leaks through the door. What am I doing wrong?
When I’m parked I just throw a tarp on it

Do these work also being installed on those towing hitch carriers?

How do install a carrier that was made for roof racks and I don’t have a roof rack?

Hello, I didn't see any comments about how waterproof the item is. How did it hold up under rains?
@91lapu14 It would be really beneficial if you would have responded in English
Just buy the roof bag made of full PVC, they really helps in the harsh weather
What about theft? Can we not leave the vehicle ever or is there a lock?
Legit shows a lock that comes with it
It comes a small lock but the carrier is made of fabric so a box cutter would open it right up

were the gloves necessary??
Why do you leave tags on your luggage?
No
